I take our word very seriously and it saddens me deeply that we did not come through on this within a reasonable time frame. That said, I do want to make sure that those of you pointing to this are doing so with the right information in mind. Out of all the tiers promised 8/10 tiers were delivered on. The remaining tiers are a pizza party, and the cross-game showmatches. With this announcement we've made sure to deliver, or come close to delivering as is realistically possible, on the outstanding tiers as a part of this announcement, and I don't think any of us would have wanted to move forward without doing so. For the pizza party the difficulty is that there are basically no events for StarCraft to do this at nowadays. As a solution we did pizza parties last Sunday in LA and SF, and have decided to add to the concept by hosting an online one and dedicate a pizza party VOD viewing night specifically for StarCraft. For the showmatches cross-game is a difficult concept more fun in word than in practice. The showmatches in the announcement are included to make sure we deliver on this tier with similar but alternative content. I'm confident we can come up with some great ideas for this that will reward both players and fans in the SC scene.

Only an esports community like this would make that connection. So what if they don't deliver on their promises? You still get a good deal on pizza. Why would you say no to that? There are two options. Either papa johns doesn't do anything and you have no events, or it tries to do something, and you have maybe a delayed event or no event at all. If at worse its the latter, well fine its as if nothing happened. But regardless, they give you 50% off pizza. How is this a bad thing overall...I just don't understand. I wish I lived in the US to get that tasty discount I don't give any kind of a shit about their garbage pizza. I got a couple to show support for esports. If you want half off a random chain pizza, it's not that hard to find a coupon or take advantage of any other random deal or promotion. They're making their money anyway because the pizza costs them thirteen cents. "So what if they don't deliver on their promises?" I don't know, you make a habit of not delivering on what you say you'll do and see how well it works out for you.

Maybe Root just wasn't interested? 50% off pizza is pretty cool, drama notwithstanding. But I find PJ really... I dunno... greasy? Much prefer Panago myself.

You must have really low salaries back in the US for a pizza to have thirteen cents in production cost. (marketing and logistics also not included) But yes, they still do profit with deals like these so I can understand the people who feel betrayed.

It seems theres a lot of codes, TeamliquidPro, TeamliquidLoL, Hungrybox, PPMD etc. I am kinda conflicted on whose code to use. I'd hate the use the wrong code, and TL management making Bunny and/or Mana attend a sales workshop because they weren't pushing enough Pizzas. I'm really confused what took so long to bring this back when the first event was so successful. The links are just unique links for the players and not a code. So what you should do if you wanna support MaNa is use his link, and then go use the PIZZAGG code.

Guess too much competition from the local pizzerias galore and Pizza Hut/Domino's on top of that. Is 15 miles really that far away? You must not live in a big city. You could always do delivery. :D
