I take our word very seriously and it saddens me deeply that we did not come through on this within a reasonable time frame. That said, I do want to make sure that those of you pointing to this are doing so with the right information in mind. Out of all the tiers promised 8/10 tiers were delivered on. The remaining tiers are a pizza party, and the cross-game showmatches. With this announcement we've made sure to deliver, or come close to delivering as is realistically possible, on the outstanding tiers as a part of this announcement, and I don't think any of us would have wanted to move forward without doing so. For the pizza party the difficulty is that there are basically no events for StarCraft to do this at nowadays. As a solution we did pizza parties last Sunday in LA and SF, and have decided to add to the concept by hosting an online one and dedicate a pizza party VOD viewing night specifically for StarCraft. For the showmatches cross-game is a difficult concept more fun in word than in practice. The showmatches in the announcement are included to make sure we deliver on this tier with similar but alternative content. I'm confident we can come up with some great ideas for this that will reward both players and fans in the SC scene. |

I'm sure Nony is right that if you are active then eating pizza isn't going to be bad for you, also people who do distance running need to replace those carbs and i'm sure pizza is good for that. Personally I do shorter distances at higher intensity and various weight training so my diet is fairly low carb higher on protein therefore I wouldn't go and eat pizza after a workout.
Speaking of papa johns specifically, Maybe it is good in the USA but it was absolutely awful when I had it. I generally don't like takeaway / processed stuff and although papa claims it uses fresh ingredients the pizza I had was just grease filled and stale.

the papa johns thing was so cool r ppl seriously complaining ugh
umad ubad u sad
i think the second time around they'll be better prepared to deliver on all the tiers. if they're not, then they're only shooting themselves in the foot with sponsors. win win win really

Italian pizza is a sorry excuse for a pizza. Just look at this disaster.

Leave it to the Americans to make food that actually tastes good. And it's not junk food.

They put bacon on it by mistake. I am okay with this.

They make some really fucking terrible Pizza in Italy. They also make some good stuff. They also make some better stuff here.
Papa John's isn't great, but it's not particularly unhealthy ingredients. Chances are the people talking mad shit on how horrible pizza is for you ate something less healthy for their most recent meal.

I ordered a Hawaiian yesterday and it was pretty good. I'm not a native so I'm asking if there's a trademark pizza for Papa John's? Also can you get the delivery for free if you order enough pizzas?

that looks delicious, looks like 800 degrees which is a make-your-own pizza place in the us. the cheese looks different because it's fresh mozzarella and not shredded/grated

Where did you have it? I've had the same experience in Vancouver every time I get it. Greasy to the max

So pepperoni doesn't exist in Italy?

Sure, better put some hormones in it

Honestly, people from the US saying that Italian's pizza is terrible sound very silly It's like if I (italian) would say that US hamburgers are terrible and we have much better in Italy.. you know it's just not true :D

But it very well might be. We have some truly awful hamburgers at places here. And, when I got a Philly cheese steak in philly, it was nowhere near as good as what's made in Utah. There's nothing magical about being in a place that something was made that makes you make that thing better. Now that's silly.

The 'magic' comes from the fact that you have been doing that particular recipe for many many years more than anyone else and maybe even invented it so you are naturally better at preparing it
Of course there are terrible pizza in Italy and bad hamburgers in the us, I was talking about the 'on average'.... Exceptions are always there but usually you don't base a judgement on them

I think every american Starcraft player should buy two extra pizzas for every European and Asian who cant do so. Well, and a tiny one for every Aussie player as well.

I thought I was safe. I thought this was over. Pizza.GG goes deeper than I would even imagine.
