What Ticktock said. Also, relax, these games sometimes take a little while to fill up. It's that time of year where in parts of the world the school term is ending, exams, graduation, moving out of dorms, that kind of thing.
There'll be confirmation PMs, so you don't have to worry about being caught off guard by a sudden unexpected game start.

complete newbie here, enthusiastic about the game though. Played some werewolf (same as mafia, expect other role names) in reality and played often the sc2 mafia arcade map

Sweet newbie spots getting filled.
I'm interested to see what kinda setup we end up with given all these roles. Assuming Early/Mid week start given the next spots fill up in a day or so. If so this will line up perfectly with my days off this week ^.^

/obs or /coach if you need it more. I'd say I'm a better scum coach than town, but I can do either.

If you need a scum specific coach, then I'm more than happy to help. Won't be around 24/7, but I should be able to help guide newer scum better than most I think.

Welcome, your reputation precedes you. Forum mafia is high volume reading and posting compared to RL mafia/werewolf or the SC2 arcade version and is thus a fairly demanding game. Highly recommend that you read through a couple, say, recent newbie games If you haven't already done so, to get a sense of what it's like. Definitely read the guides, and go over the OP/rules carefully. Don't hesitate to ask if you have any questions.

Thanks HtS, Stutters, geript for coaching offers. That skew towards scum, though!
If anyone else specifically wants to coach town, give a shout -- so Stutters can take a break and /obs as preferred.
Two newbie slots to go! May open one up to vets later in the week if we still haven't filled up by then.
I'd also love to have /replacements on standby; vets, that's another way to bypass the player ratio

Also how does that shadowing stuff work? The player and the shadow get a QT, where they can discuss the strategy/posts/reads and so on of the player?
