For the FT5 exhibitions, everyone has been coming in to their own theme music. Hamad entered the ring to "A Whole New World" from Aladdin, sitting on Brolylegs' custom motorized chair, as they glided towards the stage, smiling and waving. | ||

Unfortunately they will be rushing through the brackets pretty quickly since they don't have a lot of time set aside for USF4 on stream. We get 2 hours of bracket play (top32 to top 8) before they switch over to Marvel. After top 32 to top 8 has concluded, they'll be running through all of Marvel, GG Xrd, and MKX, before switching back to USF4 to close out the night with top 8 action in ~10 hours. Hamad is a Texas local and he hardly ever travels to tournaments. Hamad became known for beating Justin Wong in a FT5, and he's been playing well this weekend so far. 801 Strider vs Hsien Ditto these two. Although I'd bet money that they have played with each other before this, I can't recall ever having seen them meet in a tournament. (The winners of Infiltration/Hamad and Strider/Hsien will face each other in the next round, so this whole top side of the bracket should be entertaining.) Ricky Ortiz vs Tampa Bison They've met before -- in AE2012. This has been a long time coming. Chris G vs MLSwear I'd have to bet on Chris G for this, but MLSwear is always the fan favorite because, well, you know, Hakan. Snake Eyez vs El Cubano Loco I might put on the extended edition of Lord of the Rings for this one. Also, NuckleDu is in losers, and assuming he manages to defeat Tommy Gunz (lol) he'll move on to face either Chris G or MLSwear. And after that, he'll face either JWong or Air. Fairly rough bracket upcoming for Du, but that's what you get for fucking around too much in pools with Akuma. | ||
