Actually, I'll do a very brief bracket update:

Infiltration is still bodying everyone in pool 1, no games dropped
JWong hasn't dropped a game in pool 2,
K-Brad same for pool 3,
NuckleDu knocked into losers by Magneto1080p in pool 4,
Ricky winning pool 5,
Snake Eyez looking good in 6 (pool not too far along yet),
Chris G is in pool 7 and won his one game so far,
801 Strider is doing well in 8 and will play against the winner of Ludovic vs Johnny Fraudulent (coming up soon).

Pools 9-16 will happen once 1-8 are done.

You can't blame him tho, if there's anything experience taught him its that he can build a better future for the scene by being more than a player. Its not like he didn't get his glory days.

I'm still amazed, coming from a Broodwar background, that some of our best current player are some of our oldest. I love that about our scene.

The last time I saw Valle play, I'm pretty sure I saw him beat Daigo with Hugo??? Sure it was an exhibition, but I'd say he's still doing alright :D

Valle is still ridiculously good at multiple games. Just because he's not entering the event doesn't mean he's fallin off. His Hugo is entertaining.

Combofiend is the same way. I really would love to see him play in more exhibitions of MVC3 or USF4. Love that guy.

Yeah, quite a few of the elite players are well in to their thirties. I guess it's a combination of not fucking up the wrists and that a lot of the skill is transferable between games.

I love how these guys can still go after so many years. Daigo is 33, JWong 29, Ryan Hart is like 35? Crazy.
