It seems humanity cannot return the apple to the tree. So long as economics is inextricably bound with psychology, true essences cannot arise, and man cannot recognize his telos. While the invisible church and the ecclesiastical church are synonymous, Christianity is confined to a communitarian state and individual Christians are deprived of the liberty of autonomy. Only when we are free of the Nietzschean pathos of distance will we know we are no longer subjects to the dichotomy of master and slave moralities. There was no established church until the Apostle Paul's missions, and from the start, there were bad apples in the barrel, but it had humble and persecuted origins. For the church to exist in a communal state, you'd have go back to a time that doesn't exist any more. The Western Civilization church is invariably tied with with a gluttonous capitalist system that justifies its existence by saying "This is just God blessing us." and that has become so intertwined with church culture that you'd have to burn the whole thing to the ground and start over from scratch to get to where you want. Even then, if history repeats, then a new generation of humble believers will get swept up in money and greed. Honestly, in a society that puts so much comfort in being financially secure, the notion of "God" will always be secondary. You shouldn't even believe in God, though. You're a "Devote Buddhist". Or do you not know the implications of being a Buddhist? On May 03 2015 13:24 YokoKano wrote: Coloquially the most important advance in human civilization was the Hanging Gardens of Babylon, the only true union of various intelligences operating at different levels, and while often chronicled this level of complexity has been reserved only for dreamscapes and extradimensional perception. There is no archeological evidence that the Hanging Gardens ever actually existed. Therefore, it is impossible to make any kind of presumptions about the actual dimensions and design of the structure. While it's not far-fetched that such a thing would be built, but the construction of ziggurats and pyramids is not proof of anything metaphysical. That is a wrong conclusion to jump to; it'd be like seeing David Blaine and saying "I don't know how he did that, therefore he must have actual magical powers that bend reality." On May 03 2015 13:24 YokoKano wrote: The prevalence of structural rigidity in the construction of the male chromosome is a serious problem that Judaism and Christianity got right. Futurism and forward-back evolution has led scholars to say "Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus", but what this really means is that women are anchored in the evolutionary past while men are anchored in the evolutionary future (thus Mars is closer to the asteroid belt and Venus closer to the sun). Practically this manifests in Eve giving the apple to Adam, and this part of the historical narrative is as the say, dead on. Ultimately we can't always go forward. Sometimes we have to revise the past. Thus, woman's XX chromosome represents an untangling of historical knots while male's XY chromosome represents the same process "going forward". Well, that's one interpretation, for sure. You could flip that around because Venus was also Aphrodite, the goddess of love, sex and fertility, which represents new life and abundance of crops, which is why April is named after her. Who was Mars? The God of War. The Greeks considered him a cold and malign force, causing death and destitution, and he also got his own month: March. So if March is cold and cloudy, and is followed by April, then the natural progression of advancement in nature is to go from the cold of March to the warmth of April. In fact, the surface of Mars the planet is cold and uninhabitable, whereas Venus is closer to the sun. So if the sun is the means that allows life to exist, then Venus is closer to our very means of vitality. If anything, if you go by astrological shit, masculinity is going backwards, not forward. However, since that is superstition and mythology, we know that this is all bullshit, and to put so much literal-interpretation stock in the Adam and Eve story only seems to lead a bunch of crazy presumptions and conclusions. Sure, you can also be a product of the energy of the Khala or grown in cocoons and fed DNA-infused blood from the Overmind's loving tit, but again, StarCraft didn't actually happen. You are what eats you when you eat it. I can play this game too. Example: "If everyone is afraid of you, you have become what you feared the most" Chiefly guilty is notorious Egon Stetmann intrusive probing of Overmind calisthenic gastrobipedal grossly mismanages. Wow, you really butchered this sentence. Simple and complex hydrocarbates undergo structural collapse and retroform substantially under isotopic conditions. "Simple and complex"!? WHAT IS THIS, THE FUCKING HOROSCOPE? AM I SHY BUT ALSO BOLD AT TIMES? But okay, this just shows a lack of understanding of particle science. Atomic mass really only starts to affect the molecular structure when there are so many neutrons that the atom becomes unstable. You're not gonna get a particle accelerator to get Carbon-12 to 'collapse'. Neurobrainaxondentritis is a serious condition that occurs when Telic recursion ignores advanced species like Ursadon and more recently Ursadak. Global unions, (esp plant union), will not compromise food chain supremacy because of quasi-economic incentive collectivism. Serious, but also non-existent. The prefix alone is nonsense. "Neuro" means brain. So "Neurobrain" is just redundant. I also always kill the ursadon on Destination, but not because of economic incentive collectivism, but out of savagery for my personal amusement. Also Christopher Langan is an idiot. In this day and age it makes less sense to eat things that are not smart. I hate to say this, but the majestic ursadon is not a smart creature. It has approximately the intelligence of a brick. Eating 'smart' animals is not going to infuse us with their intelligence or any kind of special powers. + Show Spoiler + On April 04 2015 01:46 YokoKano wrote: You aren't the first one who thinks the Yogi need to be reigned in. The entire country of Japan dedicated almost one millennium of its existence to the development of Kobe beef. Diablo's famous "Cow Level" is a tongue-in-cheek satire of this bizarre but extremely long-lived foundation for the Zen tradition and Samurai feudalism. The drop tacitly attributed to a Cow King kill is Silks of the Victor, the unique Ancient Armor. Certain occult groups believe that Indian worship of cows is symbolic of mishaps involving Astral Projection wherein the spirits of the highest Brahmin were no longer compatible with human imperfection, and traveled to animals, bestowing the apparently harmonic sanctity of perfect consciousness upon the lives of beings who we perceive as possessed of "Animal Spirits". It is unclear whether there is truth to this idea. Even to this day, the Japanese persist in the consumption of Kobe beef, a ritual that scholars maintain is the last remnants of ancient Zen, the memories of glorious Samurai battle having been swept from the land as human reincarnation of saints in the Yogic tradition are misunderstood and the goods they bestow. The text in bold is, like, the first time you've said "Now, this is HIGHLY speculative..." and that's an important first step for coming back to reality. Overfishing has become an immensely unpopular topic for discussion because the reproductive cycle is what it is. What if it is what it isn't? After all, you are what eats you when you eat it, after all. The more we probe the ocean's depths the more we see that there's really nothing there worth looking into. I don't mean that there's nothing worth seeing, just that whatever we see will is invariably so surprising that we don't want to look any further once we've seen it. Do you know how much money it costs to go deep-sea exploring? It's not financially viable to do so at this time, and it's fruitless to discuss what money 'should' go to. There's nothing more interesting for scientists than the plankton generation rates and atmospheric comparisons that always seem to follow. Politically it's become the thing to do. Probably because Global Warming is a hot-button issue, so the government hands out grants like candy for scientists to prove/disprove Global Warming based whichever agenda is being pushed. Plankton actually lives on airborne carbon, and produces most of the world's oxygen. Most of the pollution from factories is eventually consumed by plankton, and I find that incredibly interesting. The more we study the geographic history of the world the more convincing we become as scholars of topics that we can't know anything about. Mmm, that's actually the opposite of what's happening. When you learn more, you gain knowledge, including knowledge of that which was previously not known. This does not mean that the amount of knowledge-to-be-acquired is increasing, but that we're getting access to it, which is progress. That's the essential beauty of modern naturalism. Whatever emerges from under a microscope is a valid reason, if not to enhance the body of empirical understanding, then at least to build bigger and better microscopes. There's a whole economy generated around microscopes and the operation of microscopes, and the only controversy seems to be about what we should put under a microscope once it's been built. Are you mad because we're not studying psychic energies and shit? The Amazing Randi has. The truth is (and yes, this is the goddamn truth) that you cannot empirically examine pseudoscience. It doesn't work when you find out that word-of-mouth testimony of metaphysical shit doesn't ever hold up under scrutiny, so the con-artists behind it have to come up with all kinds of nonsensical babble to explain why science is out to get them. It's all one big conspiracy to them and their followers. Yup... it's that goddamn science again, showing that humans can't bend spoons with only our minds. One thing I know for sure is that if natural selection is as effective in the realm of science as it was for Darwin's career, that we'll have a lot more science down the road. There's a lot to look forward to where experiments are concerned. We'll keep doing them and inevitably the results are more and more interesting. Hey, maybe if make a voodoo doll of Darwin and stab it with a fork, evolution won't be real anymore. Phenomena themselves are getting to the point where they're so complex that it looks like we'll have a mathematical biology pretty soon. That sure sounds exciting. Oh boy. It's like Christmas. Only instead of presents, we get scientific reductionism The upshot of all this is that in shorter and shorter intervals we can learn a lot more about things that weren't remotely likely to exist ten years ago. We were supposed to have hoverboards already. Now we're at a place where copyrights and patents being what they are, the freedom of speech is limited primarily to what we can't talk about. There's a whole science of misinformation that they're passing off as economics. What can't we know and the merits of getting to know it has become as commonplace as the dollar... Well, I find bullshit doesn't tend to sell as well as, you know, actual stuff. I mean, you can say "We should work on developing the hydrogen car!" but unfortunately, the hydrogen-powered car IS A FRAUD. But sure, let's throw our money at ethanol and ESP studies. Wait, what are we talking about again? Seat of consciousness constructivism daunts Stetmann et al. in the recently published Are Protoss Psionic? where Stetmann's colleague, legendary Goliath pilot and neurophysicist, Alan Schezar, presented the now famous thought experiment, Spider Zealot where he sought to point out contradictions in the prevailing neurochemical accounts of why Protoss Zealots appeared to run faster at different times. Schezar explains that the illusion is produced by Protoss High Templar who artfully employ holograph vector-projection of tensor fields resembling actual biological tissue. Unfortunately, as Stetmann and colleagues are quick to point out, most claims about psionic hyperrealism have been proven to be simply incredibly complex laser-pointers directed at permanently cloaked observers. Well it doesn't matter about David Blaine. Magic tricks are perfectly explicable within a comprehensive definition of immortality protocols. Either you make it or you don't, and if you do then eventually lots of cool stuff will be possible. In Starcraft lore, the Xel'Naga got there first, abused their knowledge and spawned other lesser cultures because they were too short-sighted to look past their own mythologies. The fact that David Blaine has some unique insights about how immortality protocols refract into present-value economics is nothing special. He is at best outside the top 5,000 practical magicians in the world and there's nothing that great about him selling out. Plenty of people sold out before David Blaine. If literal interpretation is so easy for you then tell me why men don't have two Y chromos. Who are you to say what the source of our vitality is? There are plenty of stars in the sky and if one goes out no one is going to miss it. Are you trying to say that men are half female or female are negative half men? You think the law of independent events applies to chromosomes, but you have no proof of this. In all likelihood I could be a male whose X chromosome interpreted all my genes to be female. The more you try to justify this ultra-masculine inflexibility the more you deny the very premise I'm explaining in the OP which is that your destiny is a self-fulfilling prophesy and your intentionality can't color your past the way it does. I'm pretty offended by what you're saying. It seems like you're just another cold-blooded alpha male trying to bully your way to the top with other people's life force, and telling yourself that you're doing them a favor. Everyone applies this same heroin-addict technique to their behavior like they're some kind of snow angel, and it's just abuse. Oh quasars are so hot, but it's artificial. Everyone wants to get closer to the source but when you talk this way you deny the outer darkness. I don't think anything positive will come from this sort of domineering mentality, "oh i'm harder on myself than anyone else" but you're not sean connery and you just need to accept that ultimately all this pride will be your downfall. Also I'm not an idiot. The Adam and Eve story and all the mythologies make perfect sense because that's what language is, a temporal re-ordering of universal structures including existence itself. "Going forward" isn't as obvious as you or dustin browder seem to think. You want to define everything according to the planck constant or the radius of an atom, but what about the attachment points of molecules, magnetism, electric, and gravity? There are plenty of very complex interactions that aren't medium-sized dry goods. Look at East-Asian language, hieroglyphics, and celtic runes, then tell me you don't believe humans can trace non-atomic architecture with their brains. Look, girls have always been better at science, and that's a fact, but all this arguing about my conclusions isn't going to make them factives or not factives. I think Chris Langan is a pretty cool guy, and I've bought a bunch of his books. So far I think you're just intimidated by nerds, and even more by intelligent people who aspired to be nerds but got shot down. You're no better than a prototypical academic, and although I hate to say this, channeling all your sexual frustration into empirical inquiry isn't going to make you a better person or a better scientist. If you think that average working people have a better understanding of scientific concepts than the actual scientists themselves you're probably right. Ultimately the proletariat own the means of production far and away in terms of labor hours and in many senses skilled labor. Every farmer probably has a dozen avatars as Coke machines or Red Box movies, and the illusion of your personal power as some kind of academic czar is more threatened than you can even imagine. I've seen this firsthand, and quite frankly I think you should have heeded my warning about the Hanging Gardens. You might really be relying on the sentience of plants, for instance as very complex thinking hives to perform complex computations like Bitcoin cryptography. You're all one-dimensional and analytic like some kind of pseudopod but it's pretty clear that integrated systems are a lot more complex than you're letting on. What makes you think a coral reef isn't a plurality just as sure as the bureaucracy you seem to like so much, and a lot more efficient too. Wow I am not reading the rest of this right now. I think Protoss represent something for all of us, in terms of where we're headed. Whether you see yourself as a Zerg or to be a Terran, you can embrace the ideal of one day becoming a Protoss. A lot of that means finding a Protoss that works for you, and there aren't many good ones out there. Evolution-wise, the most adept at survival, either through intelligence or strength or toxic skin or whatever, causes the genetic stock to change over time. For example, if people hunt elephants for their tusks, elephants won't just go "Hey, maybe we should grow smaller tusks." because that would be absurd. Poachers will kill the elephants with the larger tusks, and the ones with smaller tusks will be the survivors. That is Natural Selection. However, in the human environment, advances in sanitation, healthcare and nutrition have caused all of our kind to survive longer, regardless of weakness in intellect or strength. That's why the world population of humans has grown exponentially over the last century. A consequence of this is that most people are becoming stupider, communicating primarily through broken English and texting slang. We eat to excess, knowing full-well the health risks, become bloated but continue to feast on pseudo-foods which should kill us, and drink regular water poured into plastic bottles because it's slightly easier than filling up one's own bottle, and then dumping waste into gigantic piles that will be around forever. In short, we're de-evolving. Or are we? I mean, we could latch onto some weird New Age rubbish and practice Taoism, but most of those guys were high as fuck on opium 24/7. I'm pretty offended by what you're saying. If you knew a bit about biology, you'd see that females are the dominant archetype in the reproductive order. Only in 'higher' lifeforms does the binary role become more pronounced, and creatures can't morph their genitals to meet their reproductive needs. And frankly, we don't really need to. Anyhow, that's beside the point. I was merely pointing out that your convoluted reasoning had some logical holes in it, chiefly, that you're trying to take empirical knowledge and speculate on it in a highly subjective way to fit your beliefs. It seems like you're just another cold-blooded alpha male trying to bully your way to the top with other people's life force, and telling yourself that you're doing them a favor. -1 logic points for strawman argument. No. Just because someone perceives a change in reality does not mean that reality itself has changed. You would have to be mentally ill, or be a pipe smoking aging college professor that is way too far into solipsist philosophy to think it's actually true that perception is objective reality. I dunno, maybe that's just my inner Sean Connery arrogance, amirite "Going forward" isn't as obvious as you or dustin browder seem to think. I know. Everything is vague and abstract and there is no objective truth, etc etc. Yeah, we get it. Also, what? Dustin Browder and I have almost nothing in common, except that we both like pizza. You want to define everything according to the planck constant or the radius of an atom, Didn't say that, but whatever. You don't like empiricism in science. Look at East-Asian language, hieroglyphics, and celtic runes, then tell me you don't believe humans can trace non-atomic architecture with their brains. Again, you're making an assumption and are trying to take something that is not fully understood, and trying to make it fit into your view of the world. Ancient cultures that were heavily into mysticism were also influenced by ignorance and superstition. Additionally, many presumptions that they made about the nature of existence were, in all likelihood, not based on an understanding of the building blocks of the universe, but rather, a misunderstanding of the building blocks of the universe. Look, girls have always been better at science, and that's a fact, Just no. I mean, it's hard for me to be sexist against my own gender, but most physicists, scientists, mathematicians and so on are still men. I think Chris Langan is a pretty cool guy, and I've bought a bunch of his books. Actually, that was just kind of a shot in the dark on my part, but thanks for confirming that your worldviews are influenced by a crackpot. So far I think you're just intimidated by nerds, and even more by intelligent people who aspired to be nerds but got shot down. The term 'nerd' is really a very arbitrary social construct. If you collect Star Wars action figures, that could technically make you a nerd. Really, though, the only response I can offer to this obviously contrived statement is the time-tested Maury Show axiom of "You don't know me!" You're no better than a prototypical academic, and although I hate to say this, channeling all your sexual frustration into empirical inquiry isn't going to make you a better person or a better scientist. So what you're saying is that I just need a good dickin'. Maybe that'll connect me to some metaphysical/spiritual aspect of existence, because, after all, I'll be yelling "Oh God" quite a bit. If you think that average working people have a better understanding of scientific concepts than the actual scientists themselves you're probably right. The average working people are idiots. We're not devolving any more than we ever were. We're just consciously applying pressure to problematic memes that have hidden themselves in our culture. It's like how you play planetside and aeons broke the game and everyone wanted to quit because conventional warfare wasn't good enough any more. Oh we're going to have aeon warfare now and there's a right way and a wrong way to do it, and it's incredibly popular and people are good at it. BUT IS THERE A DOVE AEON? NO THERE ISN'T. It's a different game from Starcraft but it's still pretty good if you think that large scale cooperation is a real possibility that preserves a real competitive aspect. I mean constant changes are what makes a game good, makes a game fun. You have to be able to shift gears in an unpredictable intelligent way that catches people off guard, and it's just not positive. Players will always be coming up with new and exciting emergent strategies that are way better than anyone believes they are, and it's not always because they make sense but because they're rationally indefinable. It makes a lot of sense to try to connect with the universal mind but if it just turns out to be someone's washer it's not going to help you at all. Well you're not right. What could possibly be more general than metaphysics, and what's so bad about it anyway? If you want to categorize stuff with less broad examples or argue in a way that's so concrete that no one except you has any idea of the cognitive intent, that's great. No one will prevent you from artistic expression. Getting upset with the way society approaches problems is almost certainly not the solution. Problems are almost never solvable. If there was a methodology for solving a given problem then there wouldn't be a problem. Getting hostile toward a problem isn't going to make the problem disappear. The truth is that if you're willing to treat ideas as problems then getting hostile toward them is just one more way of raising awareness. But sometimes the awareness is the problem. Oh we're in such great pain because of psychic phenomenon X, khandrin crystals are overpowered nerf psi storm. The more excited and agitated you get over some minor disturbance the more semantics have a hold over you and you'll start to see problems everywhere. Try to enjoy your life and not sweat the small stuff. Well not everyone is going to appreciate your cleverness. There are quite a few logicians in the world, and some very good ones are female. In point of fact it's highly probable that the best logicians are female. Among chess and starcraft players the best ones have been homosexual males (logically) and it's probably no coincidence that transforming complex subject noun phrases and assigning new names to unexpected predicates is better performed by a female brain probably because of some superior sense of smell or an equally unlikely reason. In any event there are complex calculations that the brain of an alpha male simply cannot perform under duress, and it's no surprise that the greater evolutionary pressure has been gradually moving us away from a society dominated by lesser intellects. But in truth this isn't the case. There are a ton of fluctuations in the evolutionary history of the species, and biasing the selection process toward females completely ignores the most functional element of the father son relationship. While I think most people feel they are not especially good models for god, this is often the case even in the so-called space race or aeon race or whatever. There is certainly a masculine element and a lot of it seems as irrationally pointless as anything else and sometimes a great deal of variegation is explicable only through counterevolutionary memetic generation. So you just need to back off. I'm as interested as anyone in the properties of natural selection, but if you don't really know how they work then don't say that you do. I don't believe I can take you seriously about anything at all when you condescend to my geography with this "good dickin'" stuff. The hierarchical language of a particular region is something some cultures have learned to preserve intact and while some hostility and aggression are tolerable, assaulting a community project is simply unacceptable. If you don't like what people in the south do then you have the right to live in other places, you don't have the right to begin using derogatory slang in place of idioms that give upstanding people a sense of wholeness. Inciting rage by belittling people who are trying to befriend you is as fucked up as it gets and it's the sort of thing that I don't expect to see unless you've got a good reason. No one wants to feel like the prison house bitch or that he or she is one of the disenfranchised unemployed who are not contributing members of society. And it's even worse when you apply that same ideology or demagoguery against a culture that you know next to nothing about. I hope I haven't misunderstood you but the level of threat and brutality of your language seems almost indisputable. I don't want to have to live in the fear of being undervalued.

Let not be yourself guided by fools, life is too short for that. Align your mind to the teachings of Chuck Norris and you will attain spiritual sanctimony, eternal divinity and untorn exaltation. The time is now, only the sacrosanct will sustain and prosper!
