How to win the first battle TvZ after a relatively quick expansion. It seems like everytime I move out, my army is either wiped out completely or reduced to a level where I'm forced to return home. Maybe my macro is too weak or my battle micro is terrible. Maybe I am not looking for the right things when I scout so I am doomed to always move out at the wrong time.- Muta micro. Mutas seem like the strongest unit when wielded by players like July. But when I try to do something similar, it ends in disaster. Sometimes, I manage a few successive attacks in and out, but in the end it costs me more than I gain. So when I ZvT "seriously", I end up just flying them around taking out exposed things and running away.
- 400 APM. I play at about 120ish APM myself. I have no special ambitions to play this game any faster. I can easily imagine 200 APM as possible. My fingers are pretty slow so someone with good finger control should easily be able to get 200. It seems like you need a special gift of speed for 300 APM, but it is still something one can understand as possible. But when you read that players like Nada have 400 APM in his games, that is just impossible.
- Scouting without a sair in PvZ. Everything fails as soon as the speedling upgrade finishes. Whatever you send out gets killed. 1 probe, 2 probes in different directions at the same time, 1 zealot with a probe moving out shortly afterwards, 1 probe with a zealot shortly afterwards. They all just die. Maybe you're not supposed to scout. I usually accept that I'm playing blind.
- Probes dying in transfer PvT. In every game where I transfer probes from my main or nat to an outlying expo, there will be vultures magically placed enroute. I know this is not because mines have seen them on the move. I know scans have not revealed them. I don't think they know my expo is there. And it is definitely not a "normal" place to park vultures. Still, there they are, making me wonder if I should have just killed them with the units at my nat instead.
- The motivation of hackers. I just don't get it.

I started with like 100 apm maaaaany years ago, then I went to 200, now I'm never lower than 250-300 except for occasionally TvT:s It's funny, I don't think I play that fast either, I just can't play slower and a fast style suits me well. Also this is somewhat race dependent, at least toss users in general don't have that high APM.

if you have to think, your apm will drop. so I think nada is just so familiar with the builds he uses and all the branches of them that he can play instinctively without trying to figure out the timing of his 3rd cc, when to add facs etc

(Oh, and don't forget you could build a CC and lift it to a mineral field unless there is a ramp.) I always hated it when they didn't have those non-ramped hills.

Definitely your macro and build order is the problem here. It's not an issue about timing either. It seems like you'd get raped any time you move out ebcause your macro/build order/micro are all too crap.
