I dunno. Blue claims are annoying at this point because if I do doubt them, then that just means our two remaining blues are just either super lazy or have done nothing on purpose. So if I go under the assumption that we do have blues and they have tried to do things/are trying to do something, that really doesn't leave a lot of room to contest Alz/Mordek. If we had a Vig, I think he would have done SOMETHING at this point. If we had a Cop, he either is unlucky as fuck in his read picks or he is just being as quiet as possible about his findings.
So, I have no choice but to trust Alz and Mord because if they are bluffing, they're doing way too good of a job of it and the rest of the town is useless anyway. Which leaves Ghandi, Alaric, and Wave.
FROM WHAT I'VE HEARD, games of this size with a 3P should have 3 mafia, so 2/3 of them should be scum. Though I suppose maybe the roles could be throwing us for a loop and it could only be 2 Mafia/1 3P but from what I remember reading earlier in the thread, that's not true.
I made a huge post on why I think the Ghandi/Wave duo is my pick. I don't really have to go over that ground again, but there are a couple points on them that are worth noting.
-Wave has consistently played the martyr card pretty much after every phase. "I'm going to die tonight", "You're just going to lynch me today", etc. If nothing else, it's poor town play. He and others also called martyr play noob play, but he could be using his relative level of experience as a screen to say "This can't be noob play on my part because I know better, so therefore it's not a play and I'm just depressed with the game". Again, Wave has done nothing but deflect and redirect.
-Ghandi got off scott free Day 2. We remember that, right? Everyone was very, very convinced that he was a lynch target and then suddenly the train was off him. Among the people that were on the train and left? Wave and OWB. OWB then went on to revote for Ghandi, but it was far after the train had lost steam and he knew the vote wouldn't go through.
So basically I'm all in on Jeff and Wave. Alaric doesn't read scum to me. He's been playing a much better town than I, and his play doesn't seem to distance or tie him to anyone in particular, rather that he considers everyone threats equally, in a way that feels very town to me.
I mean, I've been wrong in this game before, and I may very well be wrong now. But at this point that's just what I have.

Actually, if we mislynch tonight, we lose, right? Lol. This game has been pretty stupid from start to end.

Right. If we lynch a Townie then they can safely kill me tonight with no chance of a block, and that leaves 2v2 which is a a scum win.
Assuming there are two scum left.

I actually believe that mordek faked his claim and is scum. You can read my case here (I'll admit it's not short and I didn't TL;DR's it).
When I chose Asmodeus the last day I made this post (move directly to the paragraph called owb's filter), which shows how owb actually moved the lynch from Ghandi to Soniv when Wave "pressured" mordek. There's a part (2nd spoiler I think) where I lost what I think would make sense from scum!X. Ghandi was probably the least involved in it (save for you, and because if he was scum and the plan backfired he was in danger), and Asmodeus one of the most useful (since he held the key to lynching Soniv), with Wave behind.
So if I remove Ghandi then the second scum is either you or Wave. I'd be willing to lynch any of the two... provided we can be certain it's going to result in a scum lynch. Because otherwise we're all dead (save the scum, uh). I'd rather lynch mordek today because I'm convinced he's scum at this point and it gives us 72 more hours to determine whether Res is a laser-guided hero or an autonomous scum.
|
I don't know if I could get behind a mordek vote. I said earlier that I didn't have much of a problem swallowing his story. And from the beginning, I thought Alzadar and mordek were very similar in posting styles, so I don't have an issue believing they're both similar roles, and I don't think they're both scum faking.
I have a feeling it's going to come down to Wave or me tonight, so really it's up to the 4 remaining.
##Vote WaveOfShadow
If it's a tie, I die. Which would suck.

Honestly my best read right now is Alaric thinks I'm scum so maybe he's scum? Because I'm town lol. This game is just silly.

Req, there was a time where you said that the only way Jeff was Town was if Soniv and Wave were both scum. We know Soniv wasn't scum. So do you think the last scummers are Ghandhi and Wave (implying a semi-attempted bus from Wave's very first post), or has your opinion of Jeff changed?

Oh wow. I even read that post. I guess I'm just curious why you voted Wave, who's never been a serious lynch candidate over Ghandhi, who has escaped the noose twice.
|
Only one mafia member needs to die. It can be Ghandi if everyone else wants to swing towards that vote. I just put it on Wave to see if I can get personal vindication from my dogged pursuing.
If/when Wave flips Red, I'm going to eat a celebratory cake. An entire cake.

How do you lean between Wave and Req, Mordek?
Req made a pretty good case for Wave on N2, even Soniv was saying he had some good points. Then Soniv died.
In my view Wave's posts are like 85% Townie Hero and then 15% real shitter, every time he's accused he gets mopey, question is if he's just annoyed at being accused when he's "obvious town" or if he's scum nervous at being highlighted.
The only case for Req seems to be that he votes Wave all the time?
|
When I read through Asmo's and Req's filter earlier I concluded they were both town but I mean I'm not doing so hot on my calls thus far. The most compelling argument was that it's hard to get caught in some voting slip-up or tell when you just vote for the same person all game. Interestingly enough it was Wave that brought that up, right?
|
I didn't vote for Wave at all Day 2 though.
|
Which goes to show that the storyline being pitched is sticking in people's minds. Dangerous when those reading aren't putting in the due diligence themselves.
|
It's hard to keep up with every plotline here. I didn't have the impression Req was hounding Wave until Wave started complaining about it though.

At which point he just uses it to paint himself as the constant victim, when the entire point of the game is that everyone (except poor Cixah) is a suspect.
|
Req makes a point, but honestly I'm not so confident in his judgement if he's also suspecting me when I'm potentially the second town-iest person here. Wave makes too many attempts to "buddy up" with people and disregard opposition (and martyr himself), but I'm going with what I believe to be the safer choice here.

If by "second towniest" you mean "everyone suspects me because I was nearly lynched twice", then sure.
|
Yes, OWB was clearly just a bus for me to save myself. Because that makes sense.
