I still have no reason to believe he's scum. I understand policy lynches, but we learn nothing from lynching jeff today. If he flips green, then we killed an apathetic town, sure, we get rid of a useless appendage. If he flips red, then woohoo, but I've got a feeling that won't happen. You accused him, you "pressured" him, and he reacted pretty much the way I (and probably you) thought he would. He's disinterested in the game, which sucks, but I don't see red in his motives, just an angsty teen.

And if he continues to play that way, at what point do we do something about it? He's not going to get any easier to read as the game goes on.

Read what I wrote. If he is not actively helping solve the game, there are two possibilities (I am not considering 3P for now): a) he is town, and by not helping us actively solve the game he is a massive question mark looming over our heads all game---we won't know what alignment he is and it makes it real easy for scum to keep him alive forever because there will be the possibility of him being mislynched/fucking us over at LYLO (look up what LYLO means) b) He is scum and by not contributing he is scum. Either way, not playing the game does not do us any good, and by removing him we remove a massive question mark that may affect us negatively down the road. I don't think I said anywhere that I'm going to lynch him today, only that I see it is a possibility. What I don't like is how so many people are just willing to let his behaviour slide.

I'm with you on the possibility. I misunderstood and thought you were leaning towards a Jeff vote. But talk to me. You said you liked my post on MoonBear (and hated that you liked it). Any reason you're not more interested in looking to him for your vote?

Also, LT, you're jumping on Req's case for noob stuff, even to the extent of a policy lynch on him as if he were lurker scum, but 6ah and I have done similarly bad noob BS. Why Req more than anyone else?

I think Lord Tolkien's post was interesting, and I'd probably agree that putting Moonbear on the spot is the best idea for reasons stated, but until he actually comes, I'd like to wonder aloud why Alaric pointed all those fingers and bolted, seems fishy to me. I don't trust LordTolkien, but he trusts me so I don't wanna poke that beehive. pls forgive me for being bad

The biggest issue I still have is that Wave seems like he really wants to control this game, and despite his efforts, it hasn't actually gotten us any closer to finding a real day 1 scummy player. Again, he has flip flopped multiple times on his top scum. He has also complained about multiple people not voting, but he has not actually voted for any of these guys. It is as if he is waiting for others to lead the charge so he can vote on them, and declare himself the best player ever. I also dislike the interaction between Wave and Req when talking about LordTolkien. To me, it encompasses everything wrong with how Wave is playing this game. It was a lot of bread crumbing/hand holding from Wave to get Requizen to where he wanted him. If he is just playing a teacher town role, then it sucks. If Req had explained himself without that hand holding from Wave, we'd have much better reads. Day 1 lynch on Wave is impossible I think, but I hope people don't just follow him blindly just because he has taken this teacher type role in the game.

Do you have a scum read/reason for someone other than MoonBear? No. I'm satisfied with the Innocent Child claim for now, since nobody has disputed it. ##Unvote: Cixah Anyways: OWB is fully lurker atm, hopefully he shows up later today. Coma's semi-lurking but he's Canadian so he gets a pass for this weekend. Now I know it seems I'm hopping on a bandwagon here, but I've been thinking this for awhile and it's my strongest read yet: Lord Tolkien. Everything he's done so far has been empty distraction tactics: -already noted, but constantly saying "we should policy lynch lurkers, but I don't like policy lynch", even when at the time he was the only one even mentioning policy lynchings. He's trying to distance himself from it while still indirectly pushing for a lynch on OWB/Coma. -random video spam, this is just annoying and shits up the topic and his filter -he keeps repeating how my games played list was inaccurate. Why? I've already said I just took the numbers from the database, if those are wrong I can't help it. The point of the list wasn't to plug the numbers into an equation sqrt(x/y) = scum, just to point out "these guys are vets, these guys have played a bit, the rest of us are forum mafia nooblords". Despite everyone (except Coma) deriding that post I still think it's worth knowing - it's just extra information to take note of, obviously it shouldn't solely colour your judgement. -I don't know what I think about his wall post last page. He does end with a vote so it's not just fluff like some other previous, but it doesn't feel like a hugely insightful post either. ##Vote: Lord Tolkien My only misgiving is his voting for MoonBear, who is my second pick for scum.
