regarding wether or not that Sk guy knew how offensive and racist he was being, this is him with a local kid fan:

I was always very annoyed when stupid american comedies like HIMYM made fun of germans with those fake german speakers who just yell stuff very loudly, so i can see how people from an actual minority, that was abused up until like 2 decades ago, feel offended. Not to mention that this word is specifically marked for use by racists.

I'm a competitive purist so I don't think he should get banned from LCS from things he did outside the game, but I do expect some sort of Riot intervention/ruling on this.

Just imagine this, you grow up in an extremely segregated country with very few Asians. If you know any at all they are your friends just like anyone else, you treat them well joke around, have watched some show where people speak Chinese or a random TV program in your own language where some 50 year old people are making random jokes about how Chinese people might sound when they speak, just like mmm hmmm etc might be associated with black culture or god knows something even more horrible like, sounding like a person from a part of your own country where they have a somewhat different dialect like lets say Texas. The people making the jokes grew up with no Asians at all, no movies no cultural influence, just hearing the way they speak. They make a sound "Ching Chong" on TV. The little kid hears it on TV and say it in a manner that he thinks is a bit funny to his Asian friend from time to time, they have a laugh, they joke around and life goes on.
12 something years later the same person has not studied asian american culture and its racial association, nor watched any similar instance that might have taught him that, he goes to Taiwan and tries the joke that worked when he was younger to try to be nice and friendly with a random fan, NOT treat him like a subspecies as EVERYONE seems to think. People go apeshit, and here we are now... but we don't really have the 2 decade+ history where it was horribad and nor did Svenskeren. So how the FUCK am I or he racist? It is extremely extremely unlikely!

Guess I did not, I'm apparently a tad bit ignorant, but we don't really have the 2 decade+ history where it was horribad and nor did Svenskeren. So how the FUCK am I or he racist? It is extremely extremely unlikely! Just blame Americans (old white straight men) for ruining everything for everyone.

Meanwhile, while moron Svenskeren and NiP got all the drama again, Riot announced details of the Expansion Tournament:
http://eune.lolesports.com/articles/2015-lcs-season-na-and-eu-expansion-tournament-details
Key points:
- Basically, Liquid is forced to sell either CA or LolPro BEFORE Expansion Tournament starts; - 13 teams enter EP by each region (3 from relegations get 1st round BYE, #4, #5 and #6 seeds from Promotions Tournament and 7 seeds from ranked-5, latter 8 play in first round). - 6th seed ({M}illenium and Curse Academy) has big advantage as you can see:
Some can ask why - they're not playing any of Challenger Series/relegations team + they're not playing against other seeds from relegations in first round of final double elimination. - There is double elimination for final four, oh hai there, Nick Allen, first good decision in a while, who would have thought that you still have double elimination in blood. (he was org of IPL 5, if someone doesn't know). - Riot are going full KeSPA, so if you made LCS now from Challenger Scene and got invited to join another LCS squad, you have to wait until Week 4. Also, everyone has to land 3/5 former players, nothing new here.
Dates:
November 15-16: NA Expansion (Round 1) November 22-23: NA Expansion (Round 2), EU Expansion (Round 1) November 29-30: EU Expansion (Round 2) December 12-14: NA Live Expansion December 18-21: EU Live Expansion

Not to mention that this word is specifically marked for use by racists. I'm honestly more pissed at all the extremely butthurt asian americans. I understand that it could be linked racism in some cultures, especially in the US. What I actually did not understand before this incident is that it was so closely linked. I'm 28 yo and very well traveled, have a GF with Chinese origin since 5 years, grew up in Sweden with 0 Chinese around me until the last few years and maybe 1-2 viet/thai people. The usage for Chong Ching in Sweden is from my knowledge only in the way that Chinese speak, that it sounds similar. We don't have 100 years of immigration of Asians, we don't have or have had huge racism against Asians in the last 20 something years from when they started living in Sweden. What I seriously want to say is that, yes we might seem somewhat ignorant to the Asian Americans and similar. But then, we cannot know everything about everyone and every minority around the world and how some words might be regarded by some people. People always get offended no matter how you behave in general if you are in the wrong situation. The most ignorant people that I see on reddit is actually the people that get majorly upset because they don't know/don't understand how life is in the Nordic countries and what is regarded as racist or not here, that is to me the most upsetting part because even if Svenskeren has a bad history overall, he is not deserving of this hate train at this moment for something which from a Swedish point of view was not only not racist, it was said in a jokingly manner and not condescending as me and 99% of the other Nordic citizens would feel. Rage all you want at me, we just don't understand any better and nor do you apparently of us, ignorance should not lead to massive hate, it should lead to everyone learning and this is not the way. Yeah, and how dare people get angry at Thorin for saying those things about Poland! In toxic ass-land it's perfectly okay!

"To prioritize in-game competition over acquisition gamesmanship, owners with a stake in one or more teams already playing in the Expansion Tournament are restricted from obtaining a stake in another Expansion Tournament team without divesting their previous stakes."
You sure the dude has to sell CA or LoLPro stake? says one or more

If you read the whole thing, looks like he was offered to replace Impactful on CA

Hey you should call your gf chingchong everyday because it's absolutely not racist at all Do you make sure to remind her that her language just sounds like ching chong to you?
I'd hate to break it to you but when you're ignorant of something, it's not up to the offended party to "learn that it's ok because you didn't mean to be racist" it's up to you to fcking own up to it and correct it in the future. And you SURE AS FUCK do not have the right to get mad that others are offended by YOUR insensitivity and ignorance of the matter.

Asian American tend to be the least worried about racial comments, I'm sure most of the Reddit rage are white people getting offended for Asian people.
