Maybe it has something with Usreen settings. Or it takes somehow your webcam as primary image source. Did you tried recording something on stream or local disk? Maybe its recording your webcam's image but not your desktop screen.

Is anyone running this linux? I have installed through WINE but I am having no luck actually opening and running the program after installation.

I just recorded my screen on disk - it shows my desktop and not my webcam image.

Sayle and other really great casters should support and use mca64launcher, just because of all observer features it got. Maybe the caster doesnt need to look at them (as Sayle pointed out on reunion tournament), but from the viewers point it would be a huge difference. For example supply difference, mineral/gas difference and upgrade difference... all these was a question mark for the viewers and many asked who's ahead in game... Feature suggestion: Add some sort of port scan that check if port 6112(or additional) is open before launching game. Note: To check if port is open the game must be running. I use to check with this url: http://xpeh.harpywar.com/starcraft_port.php I disagree. I actually prefer not to know supply difference etc... Upgrades can be seen when the caster clicks on a unit and if you see a forge spinning, ebay lighting up etc... well.. watching non-koreans I prefer not to see supply and minerals. but while watching koreans it's nice to see the supply difference.

I found out that if I change audio device to Realtec Digital Input, in A/V settings, my webcam turns off. The problem is - it is not getting seved. Audio device is set to mca64Launcher AUDIO every time I start mcaLauncher again, so I have to change it every time.

Launcher on start activate it for have peak metr preview. You can disable this mic from camera or change def communication device This is normal behavior, this is how windows works, for speaker audio stream doesnt need to be active to get peak metr, but for audio recording device its req. If you open xsplit your cam also will light cause mic stream will be active

I've had to do this a few times now. I couldn't even log in to my router settings for some reason, i think the launcher is interfering somehow? Also, the launcher is loading on windows startup even though i unticked "Windows autostart".
|
Would it be possible to make the launcher recoginze when an old launcher version is already installed and update it? The repeated uninstalling and reinstalling becomes a bit tedious with all the frequent updates?
|
I talked to a person who has this error. What files are missing?
|
We fixed it. His NOD32 antivirus removed some files from mca folder. He added mca folder to exclusion list and now it works.
|
so mcalauncher messed up my settings on obs, now my uscreencapture doesn't show as a device. what did it do?
nvm figured it out
