As far as raw dmg numbers, I don't know that meteor can be overcome. D3 has no trade, your argument makes 0 sense.

As far as raw dmg numbers, I don't know that meteor can be overcome. they are still good, but not necessarily BiS anymore. most classes need a RRoG, and if you are playing solo, you will want a unity for the 50% dmg reduction. as someone said, if you arent solo, the unity slot is opened up and a SoJ is usually the best filler.

But yeah, if you can't ignore jailer, you'll just die eventually, especially if it's a teleporting jailer.

Lol that's exactly how I feel. So many keys used to half potential, but such a needed change.

Ice Climbers won't be enough since it just stops you from being snared when it's Jailer's damage that smacks you. Most classes can easily get out of the snare but can't do anything about the damage other than donning Countess Julia's.

Don't worry, the amulet still sucks most of the time. Did it 3 times with a group of 4 tonight and none of us got a decent amulet.

ooohh , thanks didn't see that one coming just yet. Farmed enough keys for 6 machines last night but was too tired to use them, this is nice !
now all they need is an option to make me able to slap kadala until she gives me something useful. \ oh and adjust jailer to give a 1-2 second warning please Blizz

I farmed around 6 organ sets pre-2.1, and made a decent +Fire amulet for the DH... Only to go Cold the next week.
Extra passive would be nice tho!

I just got Diablo 3 for my PS4, but I was wondering if somebody can suggest some good online resources for a beginner, I have never even played similar games. For example some tips on what to do with your gold, what to upgrade on your character, what items to sell/stash/salvage, advanced gameplay mechanics, etc.

Pick any skill and rune you like, and change your gear if the damage/armor is better than the last one. You don't have to buy anything, you can salvage or sell (both matter very little compared to the amounts of stuff you get later on). Keep gems Marquise (level 61) and above, use the rest if you like. Enjoy the campaign! After level 70, you can look up some builds for your class and go from there.

generic tips:
play through to level 70 with stuff you find on ground. dont craft gems or items until after 70. once you are at level 70, play bounties to get rift keys and decent gear from the bounty bags. you can upgrade your artisans to level 12 and start crafting gems, and the short, fat chick to modify gear--although i would only do so for really good items, not every item. once you get decent items, start a greater rift--play one level at a time (i.e., dont kill rift guardian until 2 mins are left on the timer; do bounties while you wait). this should gear you up to a decent character.
advanced tips:
diablofans has great builds that includes lists of items you want for each. focus on finishing sets first. make sure you are going for the good sets though, not shitty ones.

Keep joining games until you have at least 2 Demon Hunters. Make sure they have Marauder's set. They will kill everything fast so no one will even think to look at your gear. Fast killing means less time to stop and inspect you.
