I kept playing on the map Jade, also a map of the week giving me more points than usual every time I won so I kind of cheated. It was a kind of policy of mine to never play on a map of the wek but I broke it anyway. One of Jade's most prominent features that I abused to help win myself games is its ramp that unlike traditional maps your main base starts off on the low ground and your ramp leads to the high ground leaving your opponent with the high ground advantage if they ever wanted to do some contain or aggressive all in. The natural choke point is ideal to wall in though.
2 gate proxies are super good vs. Terrans who rely on wall ins and since it's an unfamiliar map Terrans don't know the proper building placements. Most of of the time they just crumble without the wall in. Against Protoss even if they hold off the first couple of zealots they start going cybernetics core. I just add more Gateways and overrun them with zealots. Terran cheeses vs. Zerg were the most ideal. Just go 3 rax off of 1 or 2 bases and the Zerg gets caught off guard.
The best thing to do though if someone ever wanted to rematch is 2 gate proxy the person 3 times in a row. After all, in the classic book the Art of War it does say you should do what your opponent least expects, which is why it's the perfect thing to do. It's as perfect as going 4 pool on a 4 player map.
Recently I decided to go on this cheese quest shortly after leaving my old clan, East Manner Gaming. I met a lot of cool people and through the years I've joined tons of clans. However, the more clans I joined the more I realized I was better suited as a lone wolf. When I left I was thinking back to an old anime show called Naruto....In it is a character named Sasuke Uchiha in all of my vanity I'd like to compare myself to just to make everything over dramatic.
(spoiler alert)
A little backstory for those who aren't familiar with Naruto: Sasuke Uchiha, one of the major characters strives to surpass his big brother, Itachi Uchiha and ultimately kill him as vengeance for killing off the entire Uchiha clan including his mother and father. However, Itachi could not bear killing off his younger brother.
Over time he grows discontent with his own skills and finds that his goof headed rival and main character of the show Naruto Uzamaki has managed to surpass him tremendously and wonders to himself how if he cannot even match Naruto in skill how he could possibly be anywhere close to beating Itachi. Then, he decides to run off away with this snake demon named Orochimaru to get super powerful and becomes a bad guy.
Of course, I've departed from my old clan, but I didn't have anyone teaching me, I didn't get super good, and I didn't grow any malicious intentions, but hey, C+....and so ends the tale of Ty2.
