Yeah lol he and HuK did terribly in this tournament in terms of W/L... bottom two by far. But this tournament format is pretty cool because it gives worse players a chance. I think the big factor in this tournament was Puck going the full 6-match distance on Day 1. That really forced some interesting dynamics in the next couple of days. I guess it's also worth listing the total matches played: Scarlett: 7 Polt: 6 Major: 4 Violet: 5 HuK: 4 Puck: 6 Edit: Come to think of it, the equality in matches/maps played is actually quite amazing. Major with the least maps was still only half of Scarlett's total. I agree. Puck vs. Everyone in Day 1 was pretty impressive, and it's nice how everyone played a similar number of matches.

I know people will say that MajOr "intimidated people" or something so that he didn't have to play much for two days, but he got two days of prize money and he only won 2 games. Puck won 7 and he didn't get shit D: They just needed like a per win cash bonus so people like puCK didn't get screwed over or something.

It's been a while since we've had quite a result, smashing Polt so convincingly! It's no wonder why I love when she plays so much!! GG me too but it's sad that it comes amid so much anti-tvz backlash, partially because i sort of agree with the backlash. it would be so sick for her as a foreign hope to win during a time when people aren't complaining about the matchup and patches aren't changing the meta... oh well though, still awesome! I thought everyone was complaining that hellbats were too good right now? I didn't think it was even in zerg's favor anymore.

I like the 3 strike format but not the prize money distribution.

Something like an extra $50 or $100 per series win sounds like a solid idea ( @ $100 per, it's an extra $1800 to the prize pool). It would eliminate the only real complaint we had with pUck getting nailed on day 1. Also, I think some people in this thread haven't watched enough Prime Zerg in Proleague. I've seen they lose to slower Hellion + 2 Reaper pushes. Badly.

Departure/Kassia/Terror don't really inspire fear in anyone's heart and they are all certainly worse than Scarlett. I guess Kassia has shown some promise.

Check and Toodming are sure to study these VODs a ton in preparation for their WCS group. Check and Toodming don't have nearly the ZvT of Scarlett. Both of them will probably roach into Tefel throw because Polt is master of comebacks. No, they are better than that. Since when is Check and Toodming on anyone's radar? lol. Check? He needs to go back to the drawing board TvZ I actually think Polt's overall strategy was fine. 4M v Muta/ling/bane is really close to evenly matched in my opinion, but Scarlett's execution was just unbelievably solid and Polt's was slightly flawed. The end result being that Scarlett wins.
