GG me too but it's sad that it comes amid so much anti-tvz backlash, partially because i sort of agree with the backlash. it would be so sick for her as a foreign hope to win during a time when people aren't complaining about the matchup and patches aren't changing the meta... oh well though, still awesome! Meh. Anyone who watches those games and puts it all down to some imbalance isn't worth paying attention to. Regardless of the state of TvZ and Polt's weaknesses, that was some very high level consistent play that any player would be proud of. I'm so happy for Scarlett! <3

I was really rooting for Polt so we could see some more games but widow mines are terrible when you don't click queue them to attack clumps. Maybe he should of switched to his siege tank style of wol. Polt has always been like that. Everybody knows what hes going to do but he still (usually) wins. Koreans even make fun of his one style.

Kind of amusing that Major gets "3rd place" with only 2 map wins (and 1 match win). Yeah lol he and HuK did terribly in this tournament in terms of W/L... bottom two by far. But this tournament format is pretty cool because it gives worse players a chance.
I think the big factor in this tournament was Puck going the full 6-match distance on Day 1. That really forced some interesting dynamics in the next couple of days.
I guess it's also worth listing the total matches played:
Scarlett: 7 Polt: 6 Major: 4 Violet: 5 HuK: 4 Puck: 6
Edit: Come to think of it, the equality in matches/maps played is actually quite amazing. Major with the least maps was still only half of Scarlett's total.

I really liked this format, and the matches were awesome.
Too bad my fav Terran InnoPoltvation lost : (

it would be cool to see this format used again, with some tweaks (give some prize to players who win match too)

Since when is Check and Toodming on anyone's radar? lol.

Yeah the format is quite weird, Major playing the least amount of games, but still getting as much as Polt.

TOOD is on everyone's radar since the roach donut. Plus he went spore crawler/roach/queen nydus on two base to counter a Zerg going mutas. What a god of strategy.

Ah, i had no idea that was played live, my apologies.

I have an idea. They should keep the end of the day money distribution, but it should be a part of the total money. They should also give money based on amount of wins, that way people like puCk don't get fucked and people like major don't get more than they probably deserved.

lol to be fair, Major really played poorly compared to everyone except HuK. Worst two W/L records by far. We hear how Major scares other players and how there's so much hype over his potential, but he's the least accomplished player in this tournament (throughout WoL and HotS) except for Puck I guess, although Puck played much better this tournament (and his marathon in Day 1 was pretty impressive).
