I can agree with gumshoe on CR. Like I mentioned, CR's initial attack on koshi seemed to be gathering towncred in later stages of the game by referencing to it. I don't see a need for town to do it.
All the votes on koshi were... weird. Rainbows and ticatica just sat on the koshiwagon and drove off together. Not a good sign tbh.
My vote on koshi is a placeholder. Now that he deviates off his HUGE ASS POST PLAYMAKER style, he seemed to be more obnoxious than ever. Its hard to find obnoxious scum who might succumb to a policy lynch.

Different places have different meta, I guess. On the mafias that I used to play (warcraft 3 custom map mafia), the meta was to shittalk as much as you can d1 and lynch the guy who is the most serious. Tl mafia's meta is to over analyse everyone d1, get on a policy lynch wagon and cry.

TL towns over the past 6-9 months have had an abnormally high hit-rate on mafia day 1.

Probably because of this pressure that is put on votes, causing overreaction for some who are not used to it.
By how this thread is developing, I doubt we will get a good d1 lynch outside of a policy lynch on a mafia. Not enough materials to work on.

Caught up again, and keto hasn't posted since my filter analysis, so I'll talk a little about Koshi and why I'm going to vote for him.
First of all, in general I don't really like process of elimination as a means to "solving the game." Especially on day 1. The amount of null reads you are going to have is kind of going to screw with that. Additionally, process of elimination seems like it could be a method for scum to use because it would take a lot of effort for town to do effectively while taking much less for a mafia member because they know people's alignment.
He says he wants to try a new playstyle, which alone I certainly have no problem with, but the one he chose seems to not help town very much. How is not responding to questions asked of you and refusal to participate in discussion pro-town?
I don't like his analysis of Chromatically. The "way he entered the thread" was fine to me and as I said before I'm leaning town on him. And I'm kind of confused as to what his point is with that section of his post. He calls us scrubs for thinking Chromatically isn't scum and then says that he doesn't think he is scum either in the tl;dr.
And the MZ case seems forced. The whole "he needs to be watched" thing to voting him seems like a chain missing a few links.
Then he says he's going to be friendly, posts a few one liners, and then complains that people are hating on him for being "tryhard" when he has put about two posts with anything that resembles effort into this game. It seems like he's pretending he's tryhard by saying it a lot.
Try harder.

Ultimately Exo, this is a game / : and I often feel like town players get that, but scum don't as a result of the fear we impose on them. A reluctance to post reads as fear to me but I've never played you before so I won't pretend as if I really know what your thinking. That said, I feel it's unfair of you to amount all that's been said to psycho analyst banter ) : a lot of interesting valid things have been said by your peers and if none of it appeals to you why are you playing this game? Speaking of which, your goal in this match is two fold, it is not enough to find scum, you have to prove to us that your town so that by the time you do offer up your true accusations we trust you enough to follow. that's why we all offer these reads ( even if they're not perfect) as opposed to hoarding our suspicions like menacing house wives.

For example, I've learnt through the death of JWZ that d1 is simply a day to collect info. Thus I'll try all means to collect info on d1, throw it out in a giant ball on n1 or d2 (depending if I survive the night) and home in on targets d2.

Meta argument is something I cannot push upon since I don't know much about anyone yet. So I'll just assume that koshi is correct about CR's play. I'll stay with this vote until someone more scummy pops out.
