Good luck to Midas, I remember the SKT1 coach saying that he practiced harder than anyone, would really love to see him succeed.

I can understand with those who lost a parent before they became progamers - a lack of parental supervision allowed them to keep gaming and eventually turn pro. But people like Midas and fOru... they're not even 25! Do Koreans tend to marry late? Or is it the heavy smoking? It just doesn't seem fair. Hmm, I wondered the same thing. Don't most people's parents pass away when they're in their late 30s or 40s? It could be smoking, however. But damn, I feel soooooo bad for Midas.

I'm not sure if his dad died. I do remember that right after he lost to AnyTime in the SO1 Finals, he found out his mother was critically ill, so he dashed right out. Actually my memories sorta fuzzy, maybe it was his dad.... but I don't think he or she actually died. EDIT: yea I did some FiFo searching, and I was right. BoxeR's mom got really ill and he found out after his match. But there's no news of her dying which means she's probably all right now.

It has become so customary to pick on him, I especially find all that "choking business" pretty sad. Thanks to whoever banned all the stupid idiots from this thread, GJ.
