For the most part big games don't exist anymore I think. This one was never going to start without Koshi and his mass recruitment.

But also considering the speed of the actual recruitments as they happened I thought it would be fine. Also stacking town like mad with vets did not help that much I guess. Maybe more immune blues? The thing is if one of the blues actually stole a djinn from the scumteams, they would have been a massive asset to town. I mean they could have been unlimited vigs, or even protect the entirety of town for 1 KP. I just really wanted to try out the idea of having 4 recruiting factions trying to outsmart each other and hunting each other. Anyway, Lessons learned: Do not try to host another themed large game, I have funny and crazy ideas which just end in imba imba imba. Recruitment roles are a pain in the ass to balance and I should probably stay away from them as far as possible I do hope the game was still enjoyable to most of you. Don't give up hosting ShiaoPi. I've made a bunch of mistakes hosting before. You live and you learn. There were some pretty cool ideas in this game.

I think it would have been somewhat fair to have some roles (like recruitment protection, Cop, etc.) I was contemplating giving you up to 8 blues (all the same as they actually were in the game). The thing is even a single steal from one of the blues would swing the balance heavily, since it would depend on the djinn stolen. You could have gotten a no bulletlimit Vig/Roleblocker, a doc, a reviver and all kinds of other roles. So I was hesitant. Also I wanted to keep the game focused on djinn instead of the characters of the game series. But I agree as I said before the setup was scumfavored.

Big PM games are possibly the funnest thing + the arkham setups were so good. It's hilarious that koshi's strategy was all about getting a load of doctors out and then he died n1

Both ShiaoPi and I had large themed games, this game and Infernal Affairs respectively, that just didn't start. It was around that time that Fool pretty much killed large themed games because no one played in them. Until this game, Catastrophe Mafia was going to be the last large themed game for a while, though I am glad that this game got revived even though it ended like this T_T.

How did foolishness kill them? I thought it was just that people didn't like them much anymore overall.

big games have to have a specific catch that makes people want to play, like LoL in wave's game.
