Anyway, tonight I've been so pent up full of frustration by how bm some people can be....darn I can't contain it anymore. Thus, I've decided to release it in a healthy and non destructive way-writing. Besides, which place it is better to write than my very own blog! Exactly.
I first must tell you readers some or maybe none of you know I enjoy cheese, and not the fine cheese you find on your charcuterie board where you spread your little bit sized pieces of mozzarella on your dainty little cracker with a cute butter knife, no I mean cheese that's all in, makes your opponents rage kind of cheese. The cheese that gives you a bad reputation. And you know what, it's true, if you cheese most of the time no one will have that much respect for you.
The worst of all the BM's you can get after you play cheesy is the comment "uninstall sc. Right now." I mean, i know some people can be bm but telling someone to uninstall StarCraft because you lost to some cheese? I mean, I can't think of many BM'ers who would say something like that....but then again you're the closest human where they can output their frustration to. When you cheese it's just.....c'mon man, it's a part of the game. Suck. It. Up.
Of all the unholy BM's you can do something even more grievous occured. BM that was even worse....than the worse BM you could do...
For the sake of confidentiality I will not make it painfully obvious the idetntity of the villain of the unspeakable BM story I am about to unfold to you because I have some decency....or not. I don't know anymore at this point.
I was on bnet and met with a somewhat familiar bnetizen who we have a more or less netural kind of relationship towards each other. We ended up playing, he won, and.....then the guy just deadpan typed to me "don't shit talk me ever again" and then I activated turbo mode....however even turbo mode was not enough to bring me back from a cripplingly bad position. Then I asked for the rematch and who would've guessed. The person just typed "i'm obs."
The most hypocritical part of this is this particular person....of all people whenever he'd lose he'd ask for a re. Not a single time has this person typed gg....never out of the 10+ games(yes, really, over 10 games.) we have played against each other. This person would just type "go re." Of course, I'd re but on this day he just dodged. Darn, I just can't let go of it. I know I probably will never see this person ever again in my life. It's a sad day for sure. The person even said he would stop playing BW days beforehand, and knowing I'll never have the chance for vengeance is somewhat bothersome, but then again I guess this is an early life lesson-sometimes justice doesn't prevail. Of course this is just 1 biased perspective of mine. On top of that there's one other person who I have a similar story with who I'll never have the chance to play again. Boy is it tough.
Sometimes though, I feel like I can run away from my past, like a person who moved towns due to an unbearably embarrassing event that occurred in the previous town they lived in. Just starting a new life where your past won't haunt you. However, news of your embarrassing incident reaches the whole nation, and there is no escape. Much like that whenever I make a new account I can never seem to do away with my mannerisms and speech patterns and whoza whatsa's. Then again, I might be acting melodramatic about this whole ordeal.... After all bm towards cheese or anything of a similar nature that exists in all games, even chess.
There's a move called the Fool's Check or whatever that requires only 4 moves to get your opponent into checkmate. If the opponent doesn't respond, and lets you get that easy win, they're noob. If they fend it off successfully, they have better positioning and tempo. The cheese of chess.
Even through my misfortune I'm beginning to feel more confident about 1v1 again. However, I've just realized that the people who most intensely hate my cheesy style with a passion are all Koreans who just bm me....a lot..and that's only two people. Two. Darn. People. Make it three actually, and this third korean I mention in the above story. Hint hint. Hey though, people's feelings even if they're negative towards whichever strategy you use often should not effect the freedom of how you want to play. Said no one ever.
PEACE OUT
