Through a series of posts in his TeamLiquid fanclub thread, Swedish player NaNiwa has revealed that he will be taking an indefinite break from StarCraft 2. He cited a lack of enjoyment of the game as a reason. Though NaNiwa did not rule out a return, he did not confirm one either.
At present, NaNiwa is still set to compete in the upcoming IEM World Championship tournament, which he qualified for with a second place finish at last year's IEM New York.

My favorite Swedish player after ThorZaIN stopped competing and Jinro retired. Hope to see NaNi come back but it sounds like he's just not happy with SC2.
I really hope the polish people give him a warm farewell then! He was the only player I really did considere myself a fan of. and the only player who could leave me on the edge of my chair screming at my computer.
Hope he comes back sc2 won't be the same without him..
He's a good player, but I'm not that upset about it. It's his choice, he can do what he wants.
In terms of foreign hope... well, Bunny and TLO are doing great right now. Snute too! And there are always a host of other decent foreigners who can step their game up when needed... Grubby, Suppy, CatZ, Xeno, Dayshi...
We will survive! And all the best to Nani!
EDIT: Scarlett belongs on that list, I didn't have her on there because I thought she was stepping back from competitive play.
