Even MARINEKING did!
I for once am happy to see naniwa go. I never liked the guy, always whinning. Doesn't seem like a good person to me. But his personality was good for the foreign scene, i guess it's bad for sc2 that he ragequits like that

hopefully more people quit so blizzard will take SC2 more seriously

hope he does well. sc2 just isn't for everyone ALL the time. I agree with what he's deciding to do though...

not a fan of naniwa at all, don't like his attitude, but it's petty to come in here and talk negatively about him as a person or his prospects for life
wishing failure or unhappiness on someone is never productive even if that person is sometimes negative or hurtful
glhf to naniwa

Obnoxiousness is certainly not a good thing, but Naniwa's supposed obnoxiousness is vastly overstated by large parts of the community. He's certainly done some really douchey things, but while it's fair to criticize him for that, the community has at times been oversensitive and responded in a really toxic manner to even the smallest perceived transgressions from him (teased Idra on Twitter => complete sociopath, obv.).
I and many of his other fans feel that the bad things he's done are overshadowed by his dedication, hard-working mindset, and his accomplishments in the game. I'm not trying to say that winning tournaments automatically makes up for acting like a jerk, I just think there's more to him than someone who does stupid things every once in a while. Not liking his attitude is fair, but it's not accurate to imply that people like him just due to being obnoxious.

Sad it had to end like this but I think he will come back in a few months.

Dont let the door hit you on the way out.

To all you who defended Nanifail in this thread, shame on you. Today he revealed his true colors. The only one I feel sorry for is his team, who got ripped off by this loser.
Good bye and good riddance.

What a way for him to leave the scene.

He's from Sweden. Pretty sure they have a great and free education system there. Besides, what's the point of undercutting someone like that without any basis whatsoever? You don't know his life or his skills outside of SC2...
He may have behaved like an asshole, but it doesn't mean you should do the same. He certainly doesn't need your petty comments when he's brought enough embarrassment on himself already. You should probably save your obnoxious judgements and try to be a little more open minded.

He made his bed now he can lie in it. You deal with the outcomes of your choices, people who behave like assholes dont deserve to be treated like they arent one.
I actually liked naniwa though, so gg dude, cya.

He may have been complete asshole, but yet he is more succesful foreign protoss player than any one else. What makes you think he can not success in other things even though he would continue acting like a douche bag?
Succesful people don´t necessarily have to be the nicest ones.

I don't usually condone hating anyone in esports or anything, I think it's pretty sterile, but I genuinely dislike Naniwa. Just his attitude..
