Both teams entered this match undefeated, and expectations were high as they faced off in an intense series of games. Here's how the action unfolded across each division.
SPOILER ALERT
Code S: TvT
In a Terran mirror match, Nuke (Rage's Raiders) faced Lighthood (Angry Space Hares). The first game was marked by strategic drops from Lighthood, whose tactical precision allowed him to take the victory. Game 2 saw a shift in strategy as Lighthood executed a 3-rax Reaper rush, a build-order counter that punished Nuke’s early command center expansion. Lighthood's aggressive push overwhelmed Nuke, giving Angry Space Hares a solid 2-0 start.
Code A: ZvP
Next was Warbunnies (Protoss) vs. RegreT (Zerg). In Game 1, Warbunnies leveraged a well-timed Archon and Chargelot push. By starting with a Void Ray to fake out RegreT, he played into his reputation for Skytoss strategies and executed a deadly ground army push to secure the win. In Game 2, RegreT countered with mass Roaches and the "German Taxi" strategy, filling speedy Overlords with Queens to wipe out Warbunnies’ third base and push into his second, tying up the series 1-1.
Code B: PvZ
DB (Protoss) of Rage's Raiders clashed with SgtABC (Zerg). Game 1 saw DB capitalizing on a 2-base Chargelot timing that caught SgtABC off guard, who lacked a Roach Warren or Baneling Nest and was forced into a swift defeat, losing nearly no units in the process. In Game 2, SgtABC adapted by rushing Roaches early, successfully halting DB's push and launching a strong counterattack to even the score.
2v2: Vales/Instability vs. RevenantRage/Fenrir
The 2v2 action was a major highlight of the night. Game 1 of both TP vs TP saw Angry Space Hares employ a formidable combination of siege tank positioning and Colossus to contain Rage’s Raiders. The solid containment strategy kept Rage's Raiders under pressure, eventually leading to their defeat.
In Game 2, RevenantRage switched to Terran, and the two Terrans from Rage's Raiders attempted an early proxy barracks strategy. Unfortunately, the plan was scouted early by Angry Space Hares, leading to a shutdown of their economy. Reapers on the other side of the map further crippled RevenantRage’s economic base, allowing Angry Space Hares to secure the series.
With a final score of 6-2, Angry Space Hares maintained their undefeated status, taking a decisive win over Rage’s Raiders.
