We will survive! And all the best to Nani! That's a really weak list in terms of premier event winnings. You can't draw conclusions based on premier event winnings alone. Foreigner don't win premier events, but that doesn't mean that they are "weak". There are a dozen Korean players that haven't won anything either, but that makes them weak no more than not winning makes Naniwa or anyone on that list weak. What I'm driving at is there really isn't a HuK, Idra, Jinro, Nani, Stephano etc to root for anymore, which sucks because it's boring to people without that story line. People always say story line but I still have no idea what that means. I root for aLive I am told that he is the opposite of a story line. So I guess a story line = Squirtle?
Squirtle is Kira. Too bad his schemes didn't work out.

It means that players I don't like are inherently uninteresting because I don't like them

Mostly because I thought Scarlett was inactive/stepping back for now?? Am I wrong? I mean, Scarlett is an amazing player, but I thought she wasn't going to be competing as seriously anymore.
EDIT: Also, I am a huge, unashamed CatZ fanboy

Piqué enjoys playing football. That's the difference, and a very important one. If your desire to win is outweighed by your dislike for the game you play, you can never succeed or grow as a player. You can't force the kind of passion required to improve at Naniwa's (or, well, I guess Piqué's) level unless you already have a substantial amount of passion for what you do. If Naniwa has none, then taking a break to regain that passion is necessary and the correct move to make.

She's going to Korea. Not much reason to go there except to player Koreans or get hair advice from Wolf.

when you play to win and rage when you lose, you lose motivation.

Playing to win and raging when you lose does not mean you cannot have fun when you play. Playing and competing are different things. It's fine to hate losing like the plague when you're in a competitive setting as long as you enjoy playing when you're not. I would even say that doing everything not to lose is key in becoming the best, which has always been Naniwa's ultimate goal.

Wolf does know an awful lot about hair...

Well, I can feel with him. Toss and Mech made me quit sc2 as well (master league). I don't even think Blizzard will fix this, the casual scene is what they are pointing at, and even though they state they care about esports, its still all about selling the game, not about keeping the game interesting for those who already bought it.
