I dislike the guy pretty thoroughly and would love to have him out of the scene. The way he quit may be a bit unprofessional, but coupling the hiatus announcement with the reasoning that the game (presumably the Swarm Host, specifically) wasn't even fun to play right now brings even more attention to the need to fix problematic areas of the game. If Naniwa quits permanently and nothing changes, I'll be satisfied. If Naniwa quits, the Swarm Host is fixed, and Naniwa returns, I'll be very happy. If Naniwa quits permanently, but the Swarm Host is still changed, I'll be positively ecstatic. it's for the kpop concerts of course.

If I suddenly one day told my boss I i wasn't working anymore until 'i got my motivation back', not only would I not have a job the next day, but my professional reputation would be on thin ice. Naniwa get your lazy ass out there and back to work. Congratulations on not understanding how sports work.

Naniwa get your lazy ass out there and back to work. You can't compare casual work and playing on competitive level. If you can't contribute every part of yourself - you will fail. If you fail - then what's reason to play? Same in sports. Bunch of soccer players retire because they don't have motivation/they reached everything/they can't play because they have too many injuries/etc. Naniwa was always vocal about his target that he wants to be the best. He was trying harder than every foreigner and not little amount of Koreans. But when you don't like the game, you can't contribute every part of yourself. He doesn't want to fail. I hope, you will return stronger, NaNi. Just to make haters silent. <3 Thank you for all.

I can't abide these spoiled brats who sign for millions and coast along with minimal effort. Even if injured a player should NOT be paid IMO, all the more motivation for them to rehab and get back in shape. But Nani doesn't have an injury excuse. He's just raking in his teams money. No streaming, likely to get bounced in first round of IEM. I'm sure his team feels as though they've gotten their moneys worth. /sarcasm

Zanster is highest in aligulac after Naniwa though... well my point is that the swedish SC2 scene is nothing compared to what it was in the past... we used to have several top 3 contenders in tournaments. Now we are lucky to get past round 32 ![]()
