Day 1
In Russia, even after two revolutions things had not significantly changed for the better for the vast masses of lower social classes. Czar Nicolas II had created the duma and granted personal liberties as a concession, but had kept undermining the very duma he had created to maintain absolute power over the country. After his abdication the Provisional Government rose into power, but even they thought Russia should keep fighting in World War I and did not start a land reform or significantly improve the quality of life for the large masses of people who were suffering.
Lenin, the leader of the Bolshevik faction, had been exiled during the rule of Nicolas II. Once the Provisional Government allowed the political exiles to return back to Russia, he boarded a train and eventually arrived in Petrograd, to the sound of Marseillaise and cheering people. However, unexpectedly, within hours of his arrival he gave a speechdenouncing the Provisional Government and calling for a new revolution. He reminded the people that the country was still at war and that the Provisional Government had done nothing to give the people bread and land.
Unsuprisingly, the Provisional Government considered this approach treasonous and outlawed the Bolshevik party and Lenin went into hiding in Finland. In exile again, reflecting on the July Days and its aftermath, Lenin determined that, to prevent the triumph of counter-revolutionary forces, the Provisional Government must be overthrown by an armed up rising.
By September 1917, Lenin believed the Russian people were ready for another revolution. However, other Bolshevik leaders were not yet quite convinced. On October 10, a secret meeting of the Bolshevik party leaders was held. Lenin used all his powers of persuasion to convince the others that it was time for an armed insurrection. Having debated through the night, a vote was taken the following morning -- it was ten to two in favor of a revolution.

Who's gonna help me create a tough environment for mafia to hide in & help me lynch some mafia? If so, how do you suggest we proceed in day 1?
My top priorities are
- to start the game at a very high pace, to make sure that lurking is not only discouraged but also easy to spot and call out.
- immediately start some conversation by having some arguments (this is where its a bit tricky), we need people to fos right away when they feel off about somebody so that we can start reading each other.
