Hey all!
Left this blog on the outside for a while now and figured this would be a great time to update!
As the title reads I've started a gaming team here in Japan.
Currently the team will be comprised of some of the strongest fighting game players in various games.
Current members are Nemo of SF4, GG, KOF, and UMVC3 fame. Also we have KaneBlueRiver from UMVC3 and KOF, as well as Abegen from UMVC3. These 3 are playing at the Capcom Cup finals for Marvel right now!
Also we have Dora_bang a top player from the series of BlazBlue. He has been to SBO many times and is regarded the best Bang player! He will be playing in the Godsgarden BlazBlue tournament later today.
Finally to round it out we have AO a young top player from the Tekken series. Winner of the last SBO Tekken and still growing! He will be playing in the Redbull 5G tournament also later today!
Our official twitter is at @zablacki
You dont have to like FGC but please support a fellow TLer! =D
Currently our official website is in the making and of course looking for sponsors.
Hopefully the FGC can get more love from the e-sports scene lol
Let me know what you guys think! Peace!

Neat! Just out of curiosity do you think of expanding to other genres in forseeable future or only fighting games for now? Good luck with sponsors and stuff
|
Do you plan on expanding on any other titles? Will you let the players decide what they want to play?

Im a serious fan of Dota2 but the game isn't popular in Japan.
There is a good chance I will expand to LoL though!
Going to take a LOT of effort to get a place to house the players though.
Tokyo property pretty high....
And yes players will play whatever they. We wont have many restrictions as long as we don't conflict with sponsors.

hell yea Black Eye :D Nemo is amazing. That he can be as good as the absolute best US marvel players is scary. I honestly think if capcom cup was longer sets for marvel he'd have won it.

Already did an interview series with 2 teams in Japan and 1 tournament organizer. So let me know when you expand
btw. Riot will start jap. servers in first half of 2014!

yeah i do normal work with JCG already (i work for Razer).
Im really keen on trying to be on board with team Rampage but a 10 man squad is going to be near impossible to support right now.....

Awesome roster. Best of luck with everything!

Congrats on starting the new team!!
I saw this team basically come out of nowhere, but I never realized that the founder was also from TL! Japan definitely has no shortage of talent, so that should be the easy part of the team, but I hope you are able to secure some sponsors and continue expanding. You already have a lot of great players on the roster, so it looks like you are off to a good start.
However, if you do have room for one more FGC player, I can think of a certain Oni player that everyone would like to see more

That such a ridiculously good lineup right there holy shit. I don't even play Tekken or Blazblue (anymore) but I easily recognize Dora/AO through word of mouth.

The team itself is new but BlackEye as a gaming house has been running for a little over a year now.
Kind of like a FGTV.
Would love to get Wao on board but he lives a bit far away from me.
