My task was to defeat the zerg which awaited me in the box and then another guy from that team, to close it out. Suddendly the coach my the team was standing up. He said nothing but it was a demand for a strategy talk. The coach was DongRaeGu. His only concern was to keep me confident with whatever I do. I proposed a sixpool, he agreed. Then I thought that my opponent, a Kespa zerg, would assume that a noob sixpools and defend. So I proposed 14-hatch-14-gas. The coach agreed (in the soft DRG voice and korean accent) and I entered the box, not before raising my arms in joy.
I thought about my strategy. I would open with lings (even though my build didn't include a pool) and use the early gas to morph banes to defend, then transition into roaches and try to drown him in roaches. I quickly thought about adding hydras for air defense, but decided I could not afford it so I would need to win quickly before he out-techs me.
As it is often in dreams, the surrounding architecture changed. The playerboxes were now combined, seperating the players just with a curtain. I got a CRT monitor from Eizo and was not able to find a 85 Hz setting, but the monitor provided 146 Hz and delivered a good picture.
Sadly, the dream match never started. I thought about having my authenticator not with me, but I didn't want to play with my other account, everyone should see my main acc. (Even though it was a team match.) I also thought about my keyboard and mouse and if I can get it before the match starts. But it never started.
Damn alarm clock.
