)My name is Meru, and I ♥ SC2. And, I love the TL community.
I wasn't sure what forum to post this in, so I went with Blog section for safety. Please feel free to spread the word and thank you!
I know I don't have a lot of posts under my account, but I've been lurking the forums and learning from all of you for a year and half now. I recently acquired an extra ticket for the Red Bull Battlegrounds in NYC for Nov. 23-24, and I'd like to give away a ticket to a member of the TL community FREE OF CHARGE!
What: FREE Redbull Battlegrounds Ticket x1 – for both Sat. and Sun. Nov 23-24, 2014 @ Hammerstein Ballroom. It's a GA + Floor Seating ticket. ($70+ Value) . You MUST be able and willing to go to the event and provide your OWN TRANSPORTATION AND HOUSING if you get the tickets. You'll only be winning 1 ticket and that's it.
Why: If you read any of my previous blog entries, you'd know that I'm very new to the game and am still learning. I'm too chicken to play and am constantly looking for advise and friends. So, I want more people to learn this awesome game with me!
How: Play a game with someone who's never played SC2 before, or very new to it! Gather your sister, mom, dad, girlfriend/boyfriend, neighbor next door... whoever you want! Post your replay below either as a replay file or upload a video if you'd like. BONUS POINTS if you record yourselves playing and/or post a picture with the person learning the game. The games must be either vs. AI, custom game, ranked/unranked, or anything that's an actual game. (No Arcade Games). You can play as a team, or vs. each other. Since I have no way of proving whether or not your friend is new, I'm going to just trust all of you to be honest.
Deadline: This will be open for 2 and half weeks until Sat. NOV. 16th 11:59PM. The winner will be updated + announced here and via twitter and will be contacted by the end of Sunday, NOV 17th. Please include in your post if you'd like me to mail it to you, or meet you @ the day of the event and hand it to you. If you live in or near the city and/or NJ, I can even meet up and give you the ticket before the day of event.
