Format The Global Finals will place the top 16 players of the WCS Standings in a single elimination tournament. The map pool will be identical to that of WCS Season 3, and all matches will be best-of-five, except the finals, which will feature a best-of-seven series. Mvp's got this. + Show Spoiler +

While Mvp won a GSL and IEM Cologne, while MMA won IEM Kiev and Iron Squid, while MKP dominated MLG Winter (winning both Arena and Championship) aLive made the Ro4 of the GSL, won IPL 4 (one of the most stacked foreign tournaments ever), got top 4 at Iron Squid, and after creating controversy from leaving TSL, he joined Fnatic as its ace player and lead it to some pretty good teamleague results (they were 1 game from make the top 4 in GSTL). I don't like aLive, but I sure as hell respect this son of a gun's skill. His TvT (primarily mech) was amazing to watch, and one of the world's finest. As for Revival, we don't even know if he'll make the tournament. But this man is living proof that anyone who believes in the EG Curse is, in Stephano's words, "fucking stupid". A lesser known Korean player from the disbanded TSL, who was given a second chance by EG, and has definitely made the most of his chance. Revival is the ultimate underdog story. People hate him because of affirmative action and the possibility he'll knock the only white guy out of Blizzcon, but ironically, by making the Blizzcon finals all Korean, he adds more meaningful diversity in the form of racial diversity. Will the 3rd Zerg player make it into Blizzcon? The level of respect I have for you right now.

Rain was the upcoming star and I was hyped. However, MVP winning against Rain when everyone doubted him was great. Of course he did lose but only barely (3-4) against Life. Like Artosis said, MVP showed you that Terran could still win even during the days of Zerg dominance.

80% winrate in Bo5+ matches. Clearly this means that Mvp will win his first 4 matches at Blizzcon and then lose his 5th...except there will be no 5th match
