I'm hoping for this match up. I doubt Mvp will go marine tank against Polt so it's going to be good ol' Bio vs Mech. I can't wait to watch that.
Also it'll probably be Mvp vs JD in round one, tough match for the fans. I think JD will take it, but I'd love to see Mvp advance and go up against Dear and beat him with some well-timed scv pulls.
You give Starcraft the one element it will always need: no matter the circumstances, if you practice enough and play creatively, you can always win, no matter how stacked the odds are against you.
seems like an awfully long article for someone who is going to lose in the first round 0-3
just kidding. pretty much expect Mvp to make some crazy run to at least the semifinals just because he's Mvp. Wouldn't be surprised at all to even see him end up in the finals just because this guy knows how to win when it matters.
MarineKing, GhostKing, Crown Prince, Queen of Blades, King of the North, King of Lings are just a few of the many official and unofficial monikers with regal aspirations

Then beat Mc (I expect maru to play there but w/e) with amazing macro play (battlecruisers please) and continue to beat mma 4-3 in the finals, closing it out with a 2 rax that seems to fail at first.

Yeah it is, but people are a bunch of chobos!
I'm not sure what to expect. Personally I have little hope for Mvp this tournament, but then again, it's a Bo5 tournament, which is where he normally shines, and with high stakes he seems to perform better. His EU results were terrible the last 2 seasons, but well, that's what he's always done, had trouble in group stages. Still, the article says it all, it's his worst and deepest slump if you look at actual gameplay. But Mvp makes no logical sense.

Alive was one of the big 4 Terrans during the first half of 2012, along with the 3 letter M acronym Terrans (Mvp, MMA, MKP).
While Mvp won a GSL and IEM Cologne, while MMA won IEM Kiev and Iron Squid, while MKP dominated MLG Winter (winning both Arena and Championship)
aLive made the Ro4 of the GSL, won IPL 4 (one of the most stacked foreign tournaments ever), got top 4 at Iron Squid, and after creating controversy from leaving TSL, he joined Fnatic as its ace player and lead it to some pretty good teamleague results (they were 1 game from make the top 4 in GSTL).
I don't like aLive, but I sure as hell respect this son of a gun's skill. His TvT (primarily mech) was amazing to watch, and one of the world's finest.
As for Revival, we don't even know if he'll make the tournament. But this man is living proof that anyone who believes in the EG Curse is, in Stephano's words, "fucking stupid". A lesser known Korean player from the disbanded TSL, who was given a second chance by EG, and has definitely made the most of his chance.
Revival is the ultimate underdog story. People hate him because of affirmative action and the possibility he'll knock the only white guy out of Blizzcon, but ironically, by making the Blizzcon finals all Korean, he adds more meaningful diversity in the form of racial diversity. Will the 3rd Zerg player make it into Blizzcon?
I wish him all the best and I hope that he finishes blizzcon with a remarkable performance that no one will forget! But I doubt that will happen, maybe his career is over and we have to keep the good memories from him!
