Rezo hits the nail on the head about the game, but I want to make a case for Beyond: Two Souls.
This is not a game. It is not something that is put before you to solve. It is not a puzzle, or a competition. This is a story, written by David Cage, that we are to experience. There doesn't seem to be a way to fail, and you are guided along specific routes to 'complete' the areas. But that is the point of this. This is not a sandbox game, it is an interactive story. There are choices throughout, but they colour the game as opposed to shaping it. Jodie's basic character is on display but you get to put the fine touches to it, with real consequences that last a lifetime.
This will not be for everyone. Aiden is a powerful creature but you are limited in the ways you can use him. You can't simply wander through the streets blowing up everything you see and tearing people limb from limb (although you will get your chance to do this). But, and I cannot stress this enough, this was one of the greatest gaming experiences I've ever had. It is a masterpiece of storytelling and draws you in because you are making it happen, and because these are compelling, complex characters. The choices feel real, the story draws emotions and surprised me with the depth of feeling the characters could evoke. The mo-cap graphics and excellent voice-acting probably helped this. Thoroughly recommend to anyone even remotely interested in this game.
As a minor aside, did anyone else watch the weird Dark Sorcerer PS4 thing in the extras? That was... interesting.

Again I'll see if gf really is interested to split the bill.
So far every review is just a confirmation of what I thought: -Really well made and interesting, -Very Easy -Different paths inside a chapter but little consequences to the next chapter. Different endings depending on the lasts chapters only.
Now that I think of it, it's kinda like The Walking Dead, which was praised a lot more for some reasons. Game had the same easy difficulty and narrative structure (different choices that have little impact on the overall story... and one ending only). Unless story is crap I guess which is something reviews so far are really split, some say its very good other that it sucks... I know appreciating a story is subjective but you'd expect more than both extremes.

So this is basically the western world starting doing the classical Japanese graphical Novels? Such as School Days that is fully animated.
I like that, especially the part about being able to ignore the QTE. I can just start the game, make breakfast, eat while it plays, watch it some more, read a book while it goes along. Sounds like great background entertainment.

In the light of recent events: create a really beautiful mystic drama and no one bats an eye; allow to kill hookers in the game and everyone loses their mind

I'm only about 3 hours into the game and I'm liking it so far. The only complaint I've read so far is that people seem annoyed with the birthday scene in the early part of the game. Some found it implausible and would never happen. Besides that, I find it more fun, engaging, and immersive than Heavy Rain so far, which I found to be a good game.
