It says in the OP that scum are distrubited randomly. And how is knowing who is in what house pro town. If you have a strong read on someone through PMs that is one thing to post they are from your own house. Another to just give out members of your house with zero reads on them.

Info is an extremely vague answer.

Not only is the information of who is in what house GENERALLY USEFUL when attempting to figure out what is going on in this setup, it also gives invaluable information about people's reads and who voted who for lord.

Compared to

I don't think that we need to worry about scum wiping out houses. Easier just to kill off town lords in houses where they can slip in scum lords and take control of day kills which now definitely hits town. Rather than spend 4 KP killing 4 players in a house to remove 1 day kill that COULD hit scum...

I think we might as well just reveal at this point. (and hope no 3p Stark slaughters my house for vengeance lol)

The reason why yamato's reason is not a reason is because he never said how it helps us lynch scum day 1.
Also, he never expanded how it helps us figure out what is going on in this setup, or how knowing who voted for who for lord helps town.

Actually, it doesnt help town, knowing votes for lord.
Why? Cause scum can just say they voted the current lord. Duh.

So therefore, yamato has no good reasons for disclosing your housemates. Dont do it day 1.

Actually, since Scum is randomly distributed it's likely that they do already know who's in every house. There's 24 players so around 5 people are mafia. It's likely that there's one in each house except maybe one or two. Which means they do probably know who's in what house. I feel like an idiot.

If two houses then there are 8 people they dont know what house they are in giving them that info is stupid as it is much more valuable for them then giving it to town with zero reads to use with it.
