So far I am 0/16 and I want to know if I am just a statistical improbability or I screwed up somewhere. Depends on your position in league MMR range + is the mem reader enabled. E.g. if you are in upper MMR range of your league & have mem reader activated you get a 'good game' pretty much immediately. If you are in low MMR range of your league it can take tens of matches even with mem reader on. If mem reader is off the number of potential matches from which your MMR can be calculated drops heavily (more details in original post). When mem reader is off & you are in high MMR range of your league, you still get 'good games' from time to time. But if you are in low MMR range of your league the probability becomes very slim. This is because Blizzard artificially increases ladder points gained & decreases ladder points lost in low MMR ranges ('capping zone'). In that zone reliable MMR calculations cannot be done (opponent needs to be 'uncapped'). Read rough example regarding which opponents are usually capped (league sizes increased little for this season so relative 'uncapped range' is now little larger): http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=334561¤tpage=153#3055 OTHER OBSERVATIONS: Blizzard's v 2.0.10 patch notes mention: "Fixed a rare issue that could cause a player’s MMR to decrease after winning a matchmaking game." Wonder how rare this issue actually was (it may have been reflected in MMR tool results).

Makes me wonder if the point change was also effected, or if everything displayed correctly on the screen, and the internal MMR dropped. If so, and it happened regularly, that would really mess with the program.

As for my league placement I am top 8 Diamond. According to this program I started of as mid plat(was top 8 diamond back then as well), but after a while I had a game where my opponent's mmr was marked with 'opponent value' instead of 'opponent filler' like all the other games and the whole graph kinda just went up a league, putting me in mid diamond. I'd like to think I'm a little higher than that (pushing into Masters), but then again I might as well be wrong, so I'm hoping enabling the mem reader will work. Cheers.

I quickly checked data available via API. Profile API: - Ladders: Can be used to solve HotS & WoL 1v1 ladder division ID:s (and URLs to the ladder pages). This makes it possible to provide HotS support for Chinese server (regular Chinese web profiles do not differentiate HotS/WoL in any way). - Matches: The API match history does not separate unranked & ranked 1v1 matches. But each match has a time stamp that could be used for some validity checks. Ladder API: Useless as it does not provide bonus pool data nor season number. Only wins, losses, points & division ranks + etc. Web profile scraping is still needed as APIs do not provide enough data :/

Infcereal seems to have updated the mem reader during the night, but I will not publish it separately as it contained some changes (at least mem addresses exported outside the reader, so it will be more flexible to update it without requiring to publish whole new version of the tool).. I will try to find time to implement & test Chinese HotS support for the tool this weekend. New mem reader will be included in that update. Edit: Sun 2013-08-04 There seems to be some problems regarding memory reader. Thus new version may not make it to this weekend. Edit 2: Problem regarding the mem reader was found and fixed. Also other updates seem to work as intended. If nothing problematic is found the next version will be published on Monday evening (EU timezone).

Ramscanner isn't updated for the new patch yet, so good results are going to drop dramatically. If you just started using the program now, you won't be able to see your graph until the program has gotten enough "good games" for your account where it can accurately calculate your MMR. I would also reccommend turning on the ram-scanner in the settings (at your own discretion, as it is against terms of service to access SCII's memory) to increase the amount of good games you get (After the ramscanner is updated).

When I installed sc2gears I cant find it anywhere on computer anymore to unzip plugin. I cant find any related folder. When I type in search only thing about sc2gears it offers me is winrar file which I downloaded. Also, when I open it I cant find some options, esp for entering my battle net link. Could anyone help me with this? When you open the .rar file with winrar, it will show you the contents of the compressed folder. You should be able to hit an "extract" button somewhere in the winrar interface, and then specify where you want the files to be located afterr they're extracted. Once you've done that, you can navigate to the location of the now extracted SC2Gears program, and find the "Plugins" folder. This is where you want to put the MMRStats plugin folder. You'll need to extract the folder out of the file you downloaded, which is also a compressed folder. You can do that much in the same way you did for SC2Gears. After you've done that, you want to open up SC2Gears, and click on the "tools" option in the menu bar, then click on "Plugin Manager". This will bring up a panel that includes a list of all installed plugins. You'll notice that MMRStats is not enabled. Click on it in the list, and then click "Enable" to the right of the list, and apply your changes. This should cause the plugin to automatically take focus, along with patch notes, and a getting started guide.

Old memory reader did not have support for v. 2.0.10. This can be fixed for future games by updating the MMR tool & restarting sc2gears (version 9.5 was just published). Contents of those lines: game number, player DMMR ok ('good game'), player league, player DMMR, opponent league, opponent DMMR, player errormargin
