I've got the latest release, when a game starts I see on top of the screen a message like "Pre Trigger.." but it seems to me that no game gets registered, the main screen says "Archive is Empty" and I don't know hot to make it working. cheers Only 1v1 ranked matches are supported. When match or replay starts the tool gets info that match has started and runs pre-trigger. After match when replay is saved post-trigger is run. If the replay data indicates the match was not 1v1 auto-matchmaking game it is ignored. You have archive button enabled (top toolbar). Press it again and it will show the current data.

This occurs after every game, so there is still no chance to get a 100% calculation :/ That is not a problem. Like it says in the log either of the A or B needs to succeed (you cut that line from your log cut&paste). Alg B does not use memory scanner and thus it fails often (succeeds only if that player wins & has bonus pool left after the match). But if A has already succeeded for that player it is not a problem. Also remember if both fail for player X it affects calculating player Y:s MMR. Also if both fail for Y, player X's MMR cannot be calculated. And why you don't get 'good games' even if either of the algorithms succeed for your opponent? It usually depends your position in league MMR range. In almost every recent page of this thread there are one or two answers regarding this. You can read e.g. http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/postmessage.php?quote=3248&topic_id=334561

I got THIS resoult, so i think its quite clear that my current mmr is quite inaccurate ( i played against diamond oppenent 5 or 6 games ago[and won]) can't you adjust the tool to use the opponents mmr as an Indikator if there are very few good games. FYI: I'm currently Rank 1 Gold with a 57% winrate overall this season and 11 out of the last 14 games won. But anyways thanks for your hard work with this wonderfull tool althouh i do not feel its working fine for me atm Opponents MMR can differ at times a lot from yours, even if most of the time matchmaker pairs with quite close opponents. Thus setting your MMR based on your opponent's MMR is not a good idea. As now opponent results start to appear, it means you are finally 'uncapped', which usually translates you are in the upper half of your league. As opponents usually are close to you MMR wise, you will start getting uncapped opponents from same league too --> Soon you will get a 'good game' from which your MMR can be calculated. I would also suggest you to turn off the moving average to see your MMR changes more clearly. Nowadays character accounts are not demoted during the season (promotions are almost immediate after crossing the league border; exception: low amount of games plaeyd after blank MMR start). The matchmaker seems primarily pair people from same league and secondarily from other leagues (with close MMR). For example if diamond player's MMR drops to platinum range, he will still face most of the time diamonds (diamonds with platinum MMR). And as his MMR continues to drop in platinum range he interestingly starts facing golds (mix of golds & diamonds, rare plats). Thus it makes it difficult to deduct how close you are league barriers just by looking opponents leagues.

I was at 1380 MMR RANKED rating, went unranked random and lost a game, it tossed me back down to 1330 MMR, while that graph was meant for ranked games >.> Then I won an unranked game and it gave me +MMR

I was at 1380 MMR RANKED rating, went unranked random and lost a game, it tossed me back down to 1330 MMR, while that graph was meant for ranked games >.> Then I won an unranked game and it gave me +MMR From original post: Question: Unranked match was recorded. How can I remove it? Answer: Unranked detection is still not 100% as it requires that we have both pre-game & post-game data for the player himself. If the web profiles malfunction the game is set to ranked. Also matches shorter than 30 seconds (41.4 Blizzard seconds) are set to ranked by default due to false positive risk regarding web profile updates If an unranked game is recorded it can be manually deleted: 'Config' > 'Data' > 'Refresh' > Select individual games from dropdown list > 'Delete Game' --- No identifier data whether match was unranked or ranked has been found from replay file. Blizzard also does not separate unranked & ranked matches in match histories in any way. Thus the unranked/ranked detection is not 100%.

I let MMR use my memory Hmm? If you use same nick in SC2 then you have had plenty of 'good games' with your US account. Last was 13 matches ago against 'Mori' named player. To see which games are 'good games' switch following setting on: 'Config' > 'Data' > 'Mark assumptions / bad games' On August 15 2013 06:36 ImAdonis wrote: whenever I play a game it shows up in the log but there is still no graph whatsoever. it reads 0/0 games. wtf is this. what do I have to do so it registers and uses those games I play? I have my profile URL there and lets memory reader run The first number is count of 'good games' and the second number is count of recorded games. You have 0 recorded games. Thus there is something wrong with your settings (e.g. wrong account URL in settings) or you are not playing 1v1 (supports only 1v1). One typical problem is misconfigured sc2gears replay auto-save. MMR says needs better game data 0/26 Losing does not make difference. You need to get a match where opponent's data has been fully recorded (& change points counted) & opponent is uncapped. Read about capped opponents & memory reader e.g. from this message http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=334561¤tpage=162#3226 On August 15 2013 08:20 Strahl wrote: Hi all, I've been using the tool for a while now and it seems my graph is somehow shifted down about 200 and it won't budge, ive tried setting the first 9 games as bad as an experiment but no change. Can someone please tell me what I'm doing wrong/help me fix it? Thanks in advance, and thanks for the tool, its great work. + Show Spoiler + I am not sure what you mean. I checked your graph (164 last matches) and the graph looks normal. As you have dropped to MMR range where opponents are often capped, thus MMR cannot be calculated (has been some 50 to 60 games since last 'good game'. Estimates are often quite accurate even after such amount of matches as matchmaker does its work usually well). Read about capped opponents from the link I gave in my previous answer.
