edit: Vivax fucked it up by not voting, or? I was the third vote. Vivax hadn't voted for God knows why so once WoS did I switched.

I don't think this game was so scum favoured tbh, maybe slightly but town didn't really play that well.
WoS, I seriously belive you played survivor the "wrong" way. First off, as marv said earlier, you can die in two ways, either by lynch or by scum shooting you. One of these you can control, the other you cannot. TBH, the theory behind playing survivor should be kinda easy, at least in this setup..
1. Claim survivor. Scum now know you are survivor so they will not shoot you, the only way you can die is by getting lynched. 2. Play for town. Town now knows you are either scum or survivor and by playing for town you eliminate the risk of getting lynched.
If scum is winning, then take that as a nice bonus. But always play for town. This is at least my thoughts on the matter-
I think he played pretty well because as soon as he saves someone he's pro town in my eyes and I have to shoot him. Sure we waste 1kp, but after a save he's demonstrated that he's pro town and I'd rather take the chance on being absolutely sure and not risk getting stopped again and wasting a second anyway. As you saw he was completely safe claiming d2. The only reason he almost got lynched was town indecisiveness about who was scum and the numbers not working in his favor on the second to last day. That probably would be the same scenario if he was pro-town all game too though as it was the best play available for town if they weren't sure between JJD/S0l.
His d2 claim was also really good. We instantly knew he was 3p when he claimed RB and left us with the ability to corroborate his story but we fucked it up.

Just dropping in to warn people to never cohost for igrok ever.
Seriously, just don't.

Well, I almost can get this if you are in a really really tough situation as scum because a survivor is essentially aligned with the team that is doing best at the moment. But at point where it is somewhat equal or if scum is ahead (all this game, for example) I'd say its madness to be aiming on the survivor.

WoS played just fine and deserved to win. So did you Lazer. So did Oats until he disappeared. gumshoe was great on day 2, and it was my own fault/lack of confidence that meant I never pushed s0l properly day 3 even though I was surer of him. I knew something wrong when s0lstice pseudo-defended JarJar on that day, that was never what a scum does to another scum under huge pressure... that was a huge mistake from me to pick it up and then not process the obvious implications. Vivax went for a game-long throw, Stutters managed to mimic his townplay pretty well.

Vivax went full Vivax. Gumshoe played great. Marv, is game inbalanced?

The balance of the game doesn't matter, it's not so far off that I would want to complain about it. Town had s0lstice as a sitting duck on day 3 and collectively we fucked it up.

JK is town-oriented role, especially with factional KP (so I couldn't even RB scum shot). My thinking was (and Stutters confirmed it) if I play solely for town, under normal cicrumstances it would have been fine, but I was a JK. If a 3P JK is helping town you treat him as town JK and kill him.

I don't get what this story of throwing the game is. It wasn't instant majority lynch. There was a countdown in the daypost.
No way I could convince WoS of being scum. I told Oats that he really improved his D1 play when he said that he (undefined) should have claimed scum earlier.
Best thing would have been if two townies fakeclaimed scum, Oats had the chance. How did my vote matter, it was all about convincing WoS on who was scum and persuade him to join them.

Not an 100% victory cuz they still had to find scum, but if you just voted when you first came into the thread for s0lstice then he would have reached 3 votes first and would have been lynched.

Game Specific Rules: No PMs unless your role allows you to. You MAY post your complete role PM. No other mod pms may be posted. Voting is mandatory and will be done in a separate thread. And where did iGrok change the voting mode to instant majority???
It was plurality all the way.

i just quoted the rules^ first player to highest number of votes
not that I really care, it's not like we deserved to win
|

dude its plurality. First to 3 votes gets lynched.

assuming there was a tie at the end of the day. which there wouldve been.

It was all about getting all 3 townies on s0lstice before the votes were on Vivax. And you were here Vivax to make that happen. But no.
|
Oh right the tiebreaker. Welp sorry, didn't spend enough time thinking about the game properly since Lazer's death pretty much.

Vivax I know you have it in for me and that's fine, but you have to find a way to listen to basic logic and reading the game if I'm in a game with you :/ I was obviously really townie after day 2, the fact you were pushing me after that was mindblowing.
You're not bad at all if you're thinking, but for whatever reason you just decided to stop thinking

Yeah I stopped thinking about the game after Lazer's death. I was rather sure you weren't scum afterwards but only pushed you for funzies even after I mentioned a reason for why you're unlikely scum. I pretty much started playing like an asshole. I don't want to apologize for that cause it was a choice I made but I apologize for the plurality mistake cause it was really stupid.
