Bad enough twtich took SC1 off the general game list for twitch. Might as well use this blog to say What the Hell! Also the MLG Michael thing is horrendous I agree. All these issues take away from the great games the players offer. Why are all the casters from last nights games on crappy headphones on Skype casting and not on site. That just seems wrong to me. None of the MLG streams for any game are on twitch, they said so on twitter. They were on twitch Mobil all yesterday. Why wouldn't they BW on there. That's such a weird move.

This MLG was great in my opinion, with all 6 streams going on it really allows for a better online experience than the past MLGs. The best part about going to MLGs is getting to cheer on friends and watching the non-broadcasted matches, and this MLG gave me the chance to see more matches online than any other past event. It really sucks not being able to go to the event live but this is really close to a great experience!
I would have loved to have more streams and maybe better players casted but that would've made my life harder and 6 was sufficient for day 2

I dont understand how any1 can complain about content when following MLG last season was a joke... with like 20 streams... idk i have had 0 issues with this MLG so far.

I feel like every big match was covered, which is what I cared about. I will admit the other player made it so simple to see what was on what stream. But who knows what happened with that. NASL doesn't want to use MLG stuff they want to be there own brand. Audio has always been an issue in esports lol. I don't know for sure but I don't think it is simple thing to set up audio for the live audiance and the stream and casters and the game sounds haha. But hey you can hear the women screaming so what more do you need?

ur clearly not ok. fresh air will do you some good.

That moment you want to report somebody, and then you find that it's already been reported @ MaestroSC
Biggest problem I had was no phone streaming, I got by with NASL first 2 days, but I missed out on all of championship sunday because I didn't bring my computer.

Worse than any MLG from 2011? Were you not here for the abomination that was the first MLG Dallas of that year? The one where lag and technical difficulties caused the vast majority of the tournament to be broadcast as the idle crowd scene?

lol i find it more amusing than anything.
i didnt report him, i laughed when i read it because if something so simple can make a guy so angry... he clearly has issues beyond my post, which is beyond my concern/care lol
also idk how i was flaunting it at all with my 2 word fragment lol.

You have problems if you think that was a justified response

Anyone confirm that you could watch this on a mobile platform? I could never get it to load on my ipad. I tried to get to it through the twitch app and from the website and neither would work. Couldn't find it in the twitch app and it never loaded when I went to it through the browser. And those people that say watch it from a computer.... well obviously I didn't have access to a computer when I was trying to watch it. I like to watch sc2 while taking a dump and also on road trips when I usually only bring my Ipad.

I missed most of the live experience due to my own mistake. Friday the event started after I went to bed. So I check the vods the next day, only to find I could only watch the live rerun of main stage and the few games made it to youtube.
Saturday, my pc refused to allow twitch streams, I was playing Dota2 (sorry?) instead for it, ran CCleaner at 10 or so, after which I managed to catch a few games before bed.
Sunday, great! Watched the final few matches until I had to go to bed, only missing the finals. This morning I managed to catch the youtube vods without spoilers (except that I KNEW it was 5 games). So I just skipped game 4 since it was spoiled Hyun would win.
So all in all, I had few sound issues since I managed to miss almost every game played at the tournament. I don't see how I would be enticed to buy a subscription since Dreamhack/WCS EU/Proleague have a much better price for their much better content (free/5 bucks)
Final note, I watched most of the Axeltoss/Axslav games muted, sorry guys, I actually enjoy the games more listening to songs from my playlist.
tldr; friday starts late, saturday pc issues, sunday all games but finals seen live.
EDIT: I would like to thanks NASL for allowing vods, 90% of the friday content and about half of saturday I got from you guys. So technically I got more out of MLG from your stream than from MLG itself.

Every MLG I've seen has had long delays, and the sound really wasn't that bad. Other than when people chanted USA, I barely noticed the echo.

Mobile was spotty, at least on mlgsc2. I think NASL always was available. MLG wasn't supposed to be per se, but I know some people got it to work on tablets in the venue, so I'm not sure.

I think it won't appear on the twitch app, but if you go the twitch website you can watch it. That is my guess on how they got it to work.

On my Android, I used Streamie Free to watch it since Twitch.tv won't work in my browser. I missed most of the games from the community streams aside from NASL.tv, but otherwise I was able to catch a lot of games with no problem.

lmao nice job typing that - exactly how it sounded. xD Scared the crap out of me. Kind of lame the players had to deal with such a nuisance. Must've been distracting.
Having the casters on stage was awesome this time around. That was an upside for sure. But honestly, I feel like spectating last year was a lot better because there was the group stage to hang out by, and the players area was in the middle of the venue. You were able to see anyone's screen for the most part. Having it in the corner with only one angle to view from was really sucky. Lil' ole me couldn't get close enough to see a damn thing, and I didn't feel like waiting around or shoving my way through. Decided to snag a good seat at the main stage because that was the best thing to do while I was there. I dno, there were more players and personalities that I was excited to meet last year, too. Don't want to sound like a complainer but those are my two cents. Not often do I get to attend sc2 events. It was a good time, nonetheless!

this is what players asked for. they hated being in the center of the room, and im sure people fought to NOT have the audience at their back talking/laughing/yelling etc that fans do... is really disruptive to their competition.
multiple personalities have voiced that it is "cool" to be surrounded by fans...but they also all comment how it hurts them and influences the games etc. so I wouldn't blame MLG for this.

And I didn't say it was a justified response, but thanks for implying that I "have problems." Jesus that made me mad to read that.
