I was actually a fucking coward upon my approach. I told her by a mere text that said: Hey X, I'm not good at this so I'm just going to be blunt and honest. I really like you. There was a much longer message to this but i thought it'd be better if I went straight to the point. I'm a complete idiot now that I think back to sending this message.. her response was: Good morning, Greyhawk. Uhm, I don't know how to respond. I guess I am flattered, but also feel remorseful to have to say that I can't reciprocate. I'm at a good place in my life, surrounded by the right people at the right time. I'm not looking into anything at the moment. The current situation is: - We are still friends - We still talk often - almost everyday (not as in frequent ones about what we're doing, just random things or recapping on the friday night that just passed) - I see her once a week (I work at this bar/club as an event organiser for a weekly night and she works in the VIP area upstairs as a bartender) ~~This is assuming we don't see each other during the week, which we do sometimes Your advice (the majority of you) for me is to explore the vast sea of other awesome girls that are out there, but part of me thinks to myself that I really want her in my life and not just as a friend but someone who I want to be with in the long-term. If I truly believe she's worth it, do you guys believe that I should keep trying? or am I setting myself for a world of hurt? | ||
