Agree on that. The phoenix didn't do a lot of damage to Hydra but gave hero the possibility to take his 3rd despite having had the much weaker army.

Every Protoss game it's a one big death ball attack move push.

Protoss matches are not 'killing SC2' ffs.
You don't like them, that's your prerogative and that's fine. Parting vs Flash was hardly a boring game to most people surely?

he was lucky because it's extraordinarily unlikely he intended for the mind game to work out that way, he lucked into hydra being utterly confused and making troops instead of econ, and then not using those troops to deal severe damage at a timing when hero had nothing to stop hydras except maybe GODLY FF's

HerO played really solid today with the mindgames and scouting. I'm happy Jaedong was able to win a ZvP, I just want to see him figure out the matchup more with the precise tech switch timings. GG's!

This casters have like no clue at all. Really try to like them but just can't, sry. Hero was in the perfect position right before winning the big fight with 4 colossus, immortal, stalker sentry against hydra ling and 4 corruptors and a few infestors and they keep saying that it's a terrible situation for Hero. C'mon im a diamond zerg and i know that being stuck on hydra ling if your opponent has the same amount of collosus as you have corruptors is terrible.
GG by Hero though, nice fake

Nop
This game it was, but its because Hero's mindgame was so good that Hydra was far behind, so Hero just had to amove to victory.
Hydras would have understood the build earlier, he would have had vipers by the time the push would have come, and Hero would have needed to play totally differently.

I agree with the first part, nothing is killing SC2, it's doing fine.
I also, however, don't like Protoss matchups, and I only felt Parting vs. Flash was a good matchup because Flash made it interesting honestly. Then again, I'm a whiner and have hated SC2 protoss since I found out warpgate and sentries were things.

I do not understand how HerO won that game. He faked an immortal push and his opponent made ling hydra, and then he actually just had immortals and gateway units and no third. Then Hydra turns his entire army around for 1 halluc wap prism and somehow HerO secures a third...
The double stargate indicates that he expected a muta response, but there was none.

He wanted to fake the imo allin instead of doing it because it was already almost scouted. It's like cancelling your stargate after being scouted no ? Edit: and I was asking how it was terrible, not how HerO was lucky.

Hydra was obviously just confused, facing something you've never faced before in proleague has to be a little bit nerve-wracking.

The warpprism + the phoenixes delayed Hydra's push a lot. That's why he won.
Hydra derped a bit by moving all his army to defend this.... But I think that even with half hydra's army attacking hero, with forcefields, hero could have hold this while his double robo was building colossus.

i think that game was just a once in a lifetime case of nerves and mindfuckery. hydra simply wasnt sure what hero had at all and began to doubt everything
