I mean let's be honest. Other than Violet and MAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYBE Stephano.
Were there any Zergs even in attendance that are even close to the level of the 4 LG-IM players currently occupying the top 4 spots?
This result seems rather expected to me when I saw the brackets a couple days ago. The only real contest here was First vs Violet and even then I think First is an overall superior player.
IM just stacked this bracket too hard and they didn't bring any Zergs with them. Nerchio Since when is Nerchio Code S level? well GOMtv wanted to give him code S seed. He rejected A code s seed doesn't mean you are Code S level. Very few of the players that have gotten seeded have ever even made it past the first round. Yeap, even Stephano. My point is theres no Code S level foreigner zerg atm Stephano has qualified by U&Ds... He is not seeded this season. He achieved Code S by playing. Im not denying that. Read again Very few of the players that have gotten seeded have ever even made it past the first round. But "Code S level" doesn't mean "made it past the first round of Code S", it means "being in the RO32 of Code S". So MaNa is Code S level too? fair enough
MaNa is currently in Code S?

Trololo, 4 players from IM in the semis, talk about domination I'm interested how are they gone fare in GSTL.

The only bad part about this is that LG-IM aren't really known to be fool around, would love some BM MVP style (the team, as in Genius, DongRaeGu and sC)

Carmac should make it so that we could vote for LG-IM Coach for Sickest Nerd Baller.

And continuing this theme of being fair. When MLG has Life and Leenock are there any other Zergs they really need? There aren't many that are really better than those two. Ofc it's fair if we get more zergs no matter if you think they are better or not, they now do not get a chance to prove they actualy could beat Life or Leenock etc. My point was more on the line of getting an accurate idea on current balance. With such a big skill disparity between the top Zergs and the LG-IM players in attendance here at IEM it's really hard to get an accurate gauge but with top Zergs like Life and Leenock attending MLG it should be a much better measurement assuming of course that those two have actually been practicing HoTS at all. Considering they were seeded we simply have no idea, so that entire statement has not footholding. We have not seen them play, they might not even come close to the play they had in WoL. It's guess work nothing more. How do we know they are the best ? perhaps looking back at this IEM Violet played alot better ? Silly statement an MLG is not going to judge anything. Next season GSL might.
Better measurement doesn't mean it's satisfactory. It just means it's better than what IEM can provide.
Personally I'm withholding all balance judgments until the next GSL season myself.

It's actually not too hard if you keep things simple and not go crazy when you state your questions.

So this is why the IM coach always sent out seemingly weak players in team leagues, so when they need to step it up in important events, they can!
YongHwa with the impressive 13-1 W/L this IEM, I really want to see him against Mvp.

The King of Terrans (otherwise known as Darth MVP) vs Yoda. his reign is over. And not short enough it was. Muahahahahahahahaha Your blasphemy against his majesty will not be forgotten. He finds your lack of faith disturbing.
He is too old. Yes, too old to begin the training!

I don't think the skill disparity between all the IM guys and violet/stephano is that big, at least it wasn't in wol.
All of the IM guys maybe not. Those 4? Definitely.
