I highly doubt that. And that's an understatement.

How can you be more solid than stainless steel that the Flashinator is made of? Don't forget Flash was in the U&D before and failed. I know he's God but in those U&D there are too many people/matchups to practice for that he just couldn't demolish it like he did with Rain today. Rain on the other hand has been familiar with these multiple matchups for a far longer period of time so I just think he'll have an easier time. But yeah, who gives, Flash in Code S! :D

Sticking with Colossi instead of switching into HTs. Or just doing a big 2 base push after the failed drop by Flash. This plus better drop defense.

His macro probbaly suffered from the multitasking required to defend, while Flash kept up near perfect macro. Also keep in mind Flash managed to get a third up, Rain really needed to stabilise earlier so he could either punish Flash's third or take his own slightly later but he wasn't able to.

The nerf would have came tonight.

I agree with game 1. Though game 2 I really don't see all that much he could have done differently. Flash just played excellently and used every hole and timing there is for him to get ahead. When he stormed his own army the game was already over. In fact - when Flash was 3 base and Rain went for his 3rd + storm transtition and got caught with his pants down Flash had that. Really incredible showing from Flash today. P felt so stale and static in comparison to Flash's T in these games ~

Did not expect that result at all.

U can see from his game, his marco, his decision. All come from confidence, focus, concentration and hard work?? he must have fight off all the temptation, and practice hard. To get where he is today. He is so consistent, even after switching from BW to SC2. Not all players can achieve that. Now I am inspired. Better do something productive! No gaming or forum!... that is hard.. hahahahahaha Maybe watch one piece manga 1st..

I can bearly hold multiprong drops. I don't even get a chance to get my 3rd without beeing super far behind. Ofc. if the Terran doesn't mess up. I really have no answer to this type of play. Rain also just got brutforced.

Flash already failed twice in U&D so I get what he's saying. Rain's game might be more apt to kill several opponents with short preparation time and short gaps between games, and he'll play less greedy (so many all-ins in U&D, Rain wouldn't have skipped the bunker vs MC for example). i see. while i agree that it looked like that in the past, we could witness flash's solidness grow and grow over the last few months. dunno, i just think he's way beyond formduring the time of his u&d's on a side note, im kinda sad that its HOTS from here on. Although it's exciting it also means that so much is reset and not the full form/skill of all these amazing code S players can be carried over immediately.

How could he know that Flash took a risky third and wasn't building up to another timing? I think Rain had to stay in his base because of the possible threat (Flash showed many attempts of dropping, which in my book means you have to defend properly and not rush towards his side of the map). Flash was just always one step ahead of Rain, tough luck. :p
