It's really amazing. Not only is he multi-tasking like mad, his timings on his multi-tasked drops are impeccable. I loved when he had the 3 drop ships threaten to drop in the main, and just when Rain's army/warp-in arrived to defend against them, he dropped in the natural and racked up the damage. So he's doing all of this micro multi-tasking while the whole while he is out-macroing Rain back at home even though he was at a 10 worker deficit and slower expo from his first failed attack, which btw was beautifully defended by Rain. Although in hindsight, I think Rain should have let him kill something in that first attack because his denial just pissed him off and Flash went into God-mode.

I highly doubt that. And that's an understatement.

I do wonder if anyone will be able to match Professor Tea with that achievement...

Im not really sure if Rain is top3 protoss currently. I feel like he mainly benefited from innovative thinking in the first period of the kespa transition but his mechanics are not as solid as some other top-players (but still very good) and he's actually become very predictable it seems.

I agree with game 1. Though game 2 I really don't see all that much he could have done differently. Flash just played excellently and used every hole and timing there is for him to get ahead. When he stormed his own army the game was already over. In fact - when Flash was 3 base and Rain went for his 3rd + storm transtition and got caught with his pants down Flash had that. Really incredible showing from Flash today.

P felt so stale and static in comparison to Flash's T in these games ~

Well, one thing I didn't like was how Rain kept on warping in units over and over again instead of just positioning properly.
It felt a bit like he was defending movement with resources...

I don't think so. Its more like the meta game changed. If you choose to macro a game against a top Terran you give the controle away. You are getting a puppet somehow.

Being a Protoss player I know how Rain felt, against the threat of drops from multiple fronts my multitasking gets really stretched to its limits, so I tend to hit the panic button and just warp in units. You're right though, Protoss players need to learn how to anticipate and position units better rather than rely on warp-ins all the time.

Oh Rain definitely isn't a top 3 protoss anymore. Top 3 kespa toss, with maybe sOs as the top of that list.

Rain still doesn't hold me as stronger than Parting, Squirtle and MC though. I mean maybe he still is up there, but he just looks so far from the near invincible kespa player that stormed into OSL and GSL last year.

good luck against those turbo boost medivacs...

Though you are somewhat right. if he had like his core army in the front, in between nat and 3rd, and blink stalkers in the main it could have worked better. Who knows.

Rains reactions to the drops were a lot slower than I would've expected from a player like him. He's certainly not the best protoss, even if he's somewhere near the top.
Amazing play from Flash though, never seen such flawless macro behind such hyper aggressive multi prong drops.

I don't think that many people take a list with ForGG at 11th too seriously.
