^.^ loved the writeup, these are awesome!
my thoughts exactly
the curse of these TL previews is probably worse than the Artosis curse

What better way of ending WOL in GSL with 4 zergs in the top 4 ))))

Bogus-symbol is very hard to call. I am a bit of a bogusfanboy, but symbol has shown to be excellent vs terran. i don't think curious stands a chance against parting.

Fionn curse strikes again, tt.

Results exactly as I wanted. Thanks for making the opposite picks TL.

Don't worry Fionn, 0/2 isn't so bad

Sorry, but the only interesting matchup for me is when a terran is playing.

It went opposite of what I wanted to happen.

I really should wait for Fion to predict stuff before betting.

Appropriate ending for lings of liberty I'd say.

So happy this was the last season of wings. If mc and taeja are losing tomorrow, these will be the last wol matches for me to watch.

Fionn... your curse is way too strong...

Parting is the biggest favourite to advance from the quarters. Curious frankly was extremely fortunate in the manner by which he escaped his ro16 jinx, with Gumiho and Losira basically fighting to the death, leaving MC and Curious to simply step over their bodies to the next round. Curious's only hope is that knowing his ex-teammate so intimately he will be able to read his play perfectly every game. The question is whether he will also be able to execute. The other question is if Curious can actually stop the soul train. If anyone has the resources around him to do so, it's Curious, with his teammate Life added to his own experience. Even so, Parting has squashed many a zerg with the soul train even when they saw it coming a mile away. This will be the biggest upset of the round if Curious manages to advance.
Innovation-Symbol is only a little closer. Innovation has clearly demonstrated he is one of the best terrans if not the best terran in the world. As we saw in his games against Stephano, he doesn't care if zerg macros into infestor/BL, he just avoids the slow zerg army and harasses with his multitask and medivac drops until they are weakened to the point he can move in for the kill. Symbol is statistically the worst player in the last 8, with an 8-6 record in games, and having needed a wildcard even to make it to code S in the first place. Although his ZvT should not be underestimated, and he has the handy knack of scraping out wins against more illustrious opponents, he doesn't appear to offer anything that DRG and Stephano didn't.
It's fascinating how this round is 4 matches of kespa v esf and also 4 matches of zvx -- 2 zvt, 2 zvp. It's a perfect symmetry.
Nice write up :D i did enjoy reading that, thank you. (I didn't know much about Innovation's play before this)
