The WCG 2007 US Open will take place over 2 days, June 2nd and June 3rd. The four top US players from your game/discipline will be invited, butonly the top two will advance as top seeds to the WCG 2007 USA Championship National Finals held in Orlando, Florida September 14th–17th. The winners of the WCG US Open – in certain games - will also qualify for a free trip to Cancun, Mexico to represent the USA at the WCG Pan American Championship, June 22nd – 24th.
So looks like it's me, Day, Artosis, and lastgosu receiving the invites. And I have no chance unless I work some miracle practice in during the month of May.
Predictions: I have no idea what the status of lastgosu is. I'm thinking Day[9] will get a bye or play against someone he can beat (a replacement for lastgosu), and Artosis will beat me. Then Day[9] will beat Artosis. Day[9] and Artosis qualify.

Well gl to you all. I'm not going to even try to make a call, too much could happen.

wcg can go to freakin hell.. i lose 1 set in 2006 usa finals.. and thats it.. i traveled 1000's of miles to go 1-1 in group play and get top 8.. atlest so i could go to usa open (so i thought) and now i dont get crap.. screw u wcg... freakin monkey's could run it better --a

Anyone else think it weird that this "Open" is invite only to 4 players? Or did I miss something?

lzgamer, maybe you should practice hard and do well like Nony and artosis and day so that you too will eventually recieve an invite.
