Hi guys. When I casteded this replay, I placed a strong emphasis on being informative as a caster during the early stages of the game. With this cast, my aim was basically to fill people in on the geography of both players without actually opening up a map and pin-pointing where they are from (I usually save that for when I'm doing full blown casts for tournaments).
What are some ok things to talk about when casting the first seven minutes of a game? What do you guys like to hear the post about players?
I chose to focus on where these guys come from because so very little is actually widely known by many westerners about China or the cities that both players come from.
Other thoughts: I feel like maybe I didn't do enough research on Wuhan to tell everyone enough about Macsed.
I remember one caster saying that casting pays as a part time job, but to be a good caster, one must work full time doing research on their players.
Notables: Both players are or have been GM on the TW/KR server at some point or another.
