You have to provide some kind of evidence/proof (screenshots/replays etc.) if you are going to accuse somebody.
Additionally, a supporting comment of what people should be looking for and when will be necessary if you are posting replays/evidence. |

I think hes on the list for a reason. My first post was reporting an obvious maphacker, which everyone seems to have ignored actually. (page 210)
your account is also just only recently made.. coincidence? i think not. however thank you for the replays, i always knew riski is a maphacker, now i got some extra evidence

i am not aware of a serious attempt at making such an estimation. it has happened several times to me that some familiar name pops up in this thread, i check the replays where i play against it and i notice foul play.

To answer the first guy - If I had to guess I would say %5 and upwards. There are more hackers than people actually realize - they are abundant in diamond to GM 1v1 and also masters 2v2. They're pretty easy to spot, just look out for players whose mechanics don't fit their MMR. Not saying that's proof, but it's a tell.

is there a hack that makes it possible that a ladder game basically doesnt count?
just played a game against a gm terran on europe and after he left it said "you have left the game". I couldnt safe the replay and the game doesnt show in my or his matchhistory + no change in points. after asking him about it he ignored me. I find that a little odd, this guy finished top 16 grandmaster a couple seasons ago aswell o_o
any past experiences with that?

it could happen the safest way is to check his match history but i don't think you can do that. Oh well lol.

i suggest you post his name, and if more people recognize and have had similar experiences you could maybe exctract something from that. sometimes it takes a while before a match shows up in match history, but i don't remember if the points were delayed. also if he's gm there shouldn't be any problem accessing his match history.

http://drop.sc/154661 (that games was 9months ago and yet he is not banned besides by many players reporting him and obvious maphacking).
This guy was GM on EU and now he is playing again, currently top masters on EU.
Obvious maphack, doesnt scout proxyhatch but still makes cannons against it, doesnt see nydus but still pulls all probes that are left to attack it.
|
Super obvious EU GM barcode protoss maphacker: http://drop.sc/287859
Short game, you can see him peaking in the fog of war and then adding gateway to the wall and making additional cannons + moving the stalker attacking an overlord to block the choke before being able to see anything at all.
|
just played JustinBieber in HOTS yep hes back
|
Duffgirl, 1600~ Masters Zerg on EU that apparently 6pools every game.
Map was Antiga, sent lings + drones straigth to my base, didn't even bother to scout the other two bases with overlord.

Edit: Previous post about the same player, +3 additional games. + Show Spoiler +

http://drop.sc/288556
Duffgirl on EU, maphacks and 6 pools every game.
Blindly rallies 6 pool without actually using his first ovie to confirm that I'm there, even though he can. If he wasn't cheating (IE. he's not sure that I'm there) he'd confirm it with that ovie 100% if you're 6 pooling. After that he continues to blatantly send lings to the exact spots that I'm building 2 raxes on random places on the map (4:40ish). Notice that he actually clicks on the EXACT positions of the raxes.
There are also moments of fog of war watching here and there, but I had a friend telling me that he blindly 6 pooled him on antiga without any information of where he was, so that's that.
|
ah nice. was hoping for some more reps of him. there was a previous post about him earier.

Another Duffgirl replay, EU server:
http://drop.sc/288567
Once again a blind 6pool-rally (and a somewhat blind third queen when I've gone stargate? Not sure about this part and it probably isn't significant anyway).

here is a gif some a streamer who was hacking recently
MOD EDIT: Removed gif because it was disgusting.
User was temp banned for this post.

You don't even deserve that much ;;

hacker name: player server: eu link: http://eu.battle.net/sc2/en/profile/2498539/1/Player/
just played a few 2v2's random team with him
http://drop.sc/288629 he's my ally, constant fog of war peeking, says 'marine push' while i didnt scout anything other then an cc and 2 gasses not taken. i ask, 'how do you know?, u mh?' he replies with 'rax'.......... proceeds with building 3-4 random cannons at our ramp. what was our opponents doing? mass rine scv all in. all without scouting he knew that, watched his match history, he played them before, and then they went GAS in that game. so no 'metagaming' here, just hacking.
http://drop.sc/288630 he's my opponent, blind counters my phoenix opening with 2 cannons in mineral line and blink, templars without storm. all despite not having seen my stargate. excuse my bad manner in this game, i have no respect for hackers
3:53 peaks at base 4:43 peaks at base 5:22 peaks at base 6:09 peaks at phoenixes flying out do i need to say more?

It's happened a couple of times to me, I think it's more likely a battle.net bug than any kind of intentional cheating.

Hey guys, I posted on Battle.net forums in an attempt to get Blizzard to act on the maphacking issue.
I hope you guys will like my idea of introducing community mods:
(...) Battle.net forums, Teamliquid.net and RedditSC are all full of highly dependable, responsible and passionate individuals who would be glad to help Battle.net become a hack-free environment. Mods will NOT have power to ban accounts, but rather will have a direct line of communication with customer support (or whoever deals with abuse over at Blizzard).
