I'm not hating the person thought,i'll admit that i watched a lot of his stream in the past but to be honest i think it would be best for him to not be on the front page now. I don't mind that, he is essentially the only LoL stream players on TL anyway.

well he's not featured in the highlights anymore, even though he STILL pulls 3-4 times the viewers as half those idiots. what the fuck.

Anyone else notice this?
He doesn't play BW, SC2 or DotA2, so he's no longer a player. You heard it here first. Destiny is a faceless corporate stream like IGNProLeague.

Damn... Downgraded to "Others"
|
TL just doesn't promote LoL on the same level as SC2 and DOTA, this isn't anything personal against Destiny.
|
Why is everyone so shocked and offended? It's my understanding his skill in SC2 is pretty much pro but in LoL not so much. Seems pretty obvious why they wouldn't consider him a player anymore. If he wins some LoL tournaments I'm sure he can earn the upgrade back to "players" but it's not that serious..

Dont understand the drama...Do you see Destiny caring? No, he even said last night that he doesnt care. Plus Hes pretty much on the front page of Twitch LoL everyday - he gets all the viewers he needs that way, and its clear from last night that alot of the LoL crowd are starting to watch him (bc they didnt know who Day9 was) which shows that his plan is currently working.
hes still an entertaining streamer, and I would say more so since the switch to LoL , its very sad that many members of the SC2 community cant just accept that and move on as Destiny clearly has.

I don't call someone that nearly force his teammates to let him pick a certain role (srsly, having to link his lolking profile ? This is extremely arrogant) and flame everyone because it's easy to get him mad, an enternaining streamer.
|
Playing SC2 as a grandmaster would get him more views then playing LoL as a 1300 ELO player...

If he started playing sc2 again he would never reach Grandmaster.

Yes he would - he might not be a top tier professional, but he'd get GM without any problems.

Watching people flip their shit has always been a popular internet entertainment, and Destiny rants hilariously when he gets mad. It's the same reason that That Guy With The Glasses is a popular website, and by far its most popular contributors are the ones who are funniest when they get angry.

Jesus, you're so arrogant and bad mannered, if one day you manage to be in a team (which we'll obviously never happen), you'll only end up like IWillDominate 100% sure...

Recently, I was on Destiny's stream just for the background noise - and I overheard some conversation about something being imbalanced, or unfair, or stupid in the game, and said - if that is true, that whatever character can do that, then he is switching over to SC2. Lately, I haven't seen any Destiny stream, actually since I heard that.
Any one know what is going on in the Destiny stream?
BTW I would be curious to see if he would ever hit GM. I think he could eventually hit GM, but I am not as confident in saying whether he could attain a spot in the top 100. His career stats are practically non-existent, and I think that his switch to LoL may have been do to the fact that his progress in SC2 stalled.
Well whatever. I hope he starts streaming something soon. Let it even be DOTA - whatever.

Destiny was and is bad at starcraft which is why he switched to League; once i read his thread about how starcraft 2 was dying I lol'ed and never opened his stream again.

I read it too.
From the sound of it - Destiny is too much of a casual gamer to really be Pro pro.
Still, he could probably beat 9,999 out of every 10,000 SC players with ease.

He basically said sc2 was dying because he lost viewers on his stream and he wasn't doing well, that's pretty much it.

I should say - that makes the most sense of everything that I didn't hear so far about Destiny or from Destiny.

Well now I believe that he gets more viewers with LoL, currently at 5.6k. Definitely more than he would get in SC2 at the moment.
