Hi TL,
The last two weeks I've published four new episodes on my ballongo.com webcomic. My next friday update will be a Christmas special, and I think the tree will turn into a Christmas tree.
Also, I have pondered adding speech bubbles, but it goes against the principles of this webcomic. I add an example how it could look in the end of this post. What do you think?
Part 27. Fishing
ballongo.com
Part 26. Tornado
ballongo.com
Part 25. Umbrella
ballongo.com
Part 24. Hide and Seek
ballongo.com
Part 23. Speech Bubble-test. Pool
ballongo.com
Thanks for watching!

I think it's fine without the speech bubbles. In the example you gave, the speech bubbles didn't add anything to the comic that one wouldn't be able to tell by looking at the expressions on the faces. Good work on the comics btw.

Nay on the speech bubbles. One of the best part of the comic is the emotions conveyed through simple facial expressions (as I write this, I'm looking at the expressions in the last pane of the last panel, haha, good stuff). Speech bubbles not necessary.
You're awesome, by the way.

Definitely agree on no speech bubbles, totally not required, your artistry is more than enough. Love these!

While I think the previously stated reasons about not needing speech bubbles are valid I think I'd also prefer the use of speech bubbles It just adds so much to characterization

I think it would work if you added other chars that can talk but leave those guys silent still.

Thanks guys for feedback, and I agree bubbles are superfluous.
