The SC2 videos in 2011 where he was so excited when a strategy worked are gold. But it really is understandable, he was only a random foregner skillwise and without team support and LoL being so much bigger it seems like a logical choice. Although it probably will be even harder for him to succeed in LoL I mean he was kicked form so many teams in SC2 and LoL is team game

It seems like different people define the success of SC2 in different ways. Destiny seems to define it as having the maximum possible viewers, maximum possible casual appeal, maximum consequent sponsorship. But maybe that's not just what the game is, or should be. Maybe it is what it is, a highly competitive game for competitive people. There's nothing wrong with that, and nothing wrong with accepting that in comparison to games like lol, it will remain limited in scope. It's understandable that people who want it to be the American Idol of gaming will be disappointed. If you define failure in a neilsen ratings, cost-per-minute of ad revenue type of way, yes it is in decline. But it is an awesome game, and I think its great that it appeals to perhaps a more intellectual, engaged type of fan rather than say the typical highschooler. Accept it for what it is, and accept that the dollars will go to the one that can bring in the casual highschooler. On ITG it was clear that the others did not support what Blizzard was doing, and favored doing what they could to make it better. That's valid, and the statement that SC2 is in decline compared to other games is also valid. The players and community SHOULD do what they can......and also the game is losing popularity compared to lol and others. Those are not opposing points of view, in fact they have nothing to do with each other. They are both just probably true. No sense raging at the rain for making you wet, just accept reality and if you don't like it go indoors.

Apparently many people switch from own3d to twitch because owned did not pay money on time.I saw a couple of other streamers switching too.

You have to uderstand that Destiny is making a LIVING out of playing sc2 on stream.Making a living out of a stream means you need at least 2000 constantly.sc2 could never provide that.

He had almost every time he streamed SC2 2k - 4k (some times even more). Since he started playing LoL I stopped watching, but last time I checked he was around 1k viewers. But: I haven't chekd his stream a while now, so it may be up again. I'm not watching it, because I don't like the art style of LoL, and I don't like MOBA Games that much in general.

When i saw him playing starcraft I never saw anything beyond 2300.But you might be right with the numbers-I don"t have any oficial ones myself.Last night at lol he had like 3000 viewers and he is 1300 elo which is like silver in sc2.3000 viewers for very low ranking is quite good.he also explained why he swtiched full time to lol.he draw a graph in paint explaining that the potential viewer cap he might achieve in lol is like 2 times more than the potential viewer cap he might achieve in sc2.Also the community in lol is more friendlier towards streamers and more used to that.In sc2 its all about the tournaments where Destinity didnt have much succes
