Because they announced this feature like 6 months ago? (After failing to include it in WoL..)
You could say no one is excited when they buy a car that comes with doors. We already knew about this and to be honest, we expected it a long frick time ago.

Maybe one day we'll be able to change our names with outdated clan tags in them too.

ye but they didn't specify it, and now they did and noone is pointing it out. They just announced they are working on it for the future, but they didn't say it will be here with HotS before
I still see tons of posts "*CRY* no watching multipalyer with friendzzz"

I'm really not here to be sardonic and shitty but look, it's something from 14 years ago. It was expected. Including group replays at this point is fixing something that was missing, not adding new stuff. Something that should have shipped 2 years ago instead of Facebook Integration.
Edit: They did say it was coming in HotS. Edit 2-
Let me go back to the car analogy. Let's say you're buying a brand new Camry. 2013. Sick. The guy at the dealership shows you the floor model car and it's got all the features and nice leather seats. You go for a test drive and love it, you're sold. Then he shows you the Camry you're getting. Oh, no leather seats. No power windows. No A/C. Those are upgrades he tells you. You're going to have to purchase the XL version for that!
That's not the greatest analogy but I think it's to the point. Group replays is an expectation. You don't sell a car on the point that it comes with a radio. It's what should come with it.
And to add to the first edit, I recall them mentioning it at Blizzcon last year and I recall them mentioning it again around June/July of this year. So it's not like it's a surprise. That is why I imagine the response is somewhat muted so far.

I will believe it when I see it in bnet tell then It doesn't exist

Its nice and people are happy it is in, but it should have been in wol, which is why people are pissed.

Yes I should be excited that technology finally caught up to 1998

Not a single one of you guys is getting the gist. I'm complaining about people not reading announcements properly and thus missing out on crucial information. I know a well as your uncle and aunt that this feature should be in by release, but that is not the point of this blog.
|
Um, there was even a thread about this. So yea people noticed.

They officially officially announced it was officially going to officially be in HotS (officially) a while ago. I even recall making a comment about how I was ecstatic that this was finally being put in SC2 (much like how BW had it). This was quite some time ago.
[N3O]r3d33m3r, you're late to the party. No one's reacting right this second because they're either thinking "It's about time they put it back in" or they already knew about it because it was already announced (officially).

I noticed. I noticed when they said this would be WoL too. I also noticed when they were actually in BW. Others must have noticed too.
Anyway a good policy I've learned with things Blizzard says is: believe it when you see it.

Not 1998, breh. The ability to watch replays in multiplayer was added in a later patch, and it wasn't stable until, like, 2001. Replays had so many errors that they were practically unusable before then.
Age Of Empires II may have had the feature of multiplayer replays before then, but I don't think so.

Replays just fucked up after every minor patch. Normally they ran pretty smooth, no idea what your talking about.
