Manboobs ?
I doubt there will be a Terran in the Ro8 this season.

Wow, Creator > Mvp. Not 100% surprised to be honest, just a little upset that Mvp didn't win. Congrats to Creator and (obviously) DRG!

Should just stick to his roots since it's already clear by now he can't play standard tvp he beat rain last season the best tvper with pure straight play so wtf are u talking bout lol rain is already the best tvper? wtf are U talking about? xD Yeah I think Bomber had something to say about Rain being best TvP when Bomber 2-0'd him at MLG. Rain is probably best PvP and best at pre-hive timings and that is it imo. He's definitely solid in TvP though. I guess u didn't see OSL's finals...
Of course I did, and Rain played phenomenally... but wait, I thought Protoss said you CANNOT ever beat a good Zerg post-Hive? LOL.
I'm not saying he's bad at post-Hive gameplay I'm just saying he's the best at pre-Hive timings most likely.

I'm genuinely curious as to what it will take for Terran to finally receive a proper buff. As it stands I feel the Terran race is ONLY balanced for the top 3 or so terrans in the world (as evidenced especially in the foreign scene). At this point I almost hope the Terrans crash out of this GSL and somehow force Blizzards hand, as it seems the GSL is the only things that matters to the balance team (Only need to look at WCS).
Hell, I play toss but cheer Terran almost exclusively because in my eyes they're clearly the weakest race (especially in the TvZ match-up). It's frustrating watching a terran have to play so perfect and the other races be so forgiving against them.
Terran won for the majority of 2011, what happened? Nerf, nerf nerf nerf (in many cases rightly so). Toss and Zerg become dominant in 2012 and nothing happens. In fact they get more buffs.

This is good for Flash, he keeps losing TvT's so if every other Terran drops out of Code S he has a good shot.

It sucks for Terrans that the greatest SC2 player of all time happens to be a terran.
I feel like if he didn't exist or played a different race, SC2 would be in a different shape (from a balance perspective) to what it currently is.

Actually, it means more terrans in Code A so he might have a tougher time this season.

It would have been interesting to see. But his first 3 GSLs he won were all vs T. So we might have still had Terrans winning a lot of GSL. But he also took out a lot of zergs (mainly Nestea when he was dominate) and some Ps (although has TvP was weak back then). Who knows what would have happened. But in 2012, him (and Taeja) probably made Blizzard think about not buffing Terran.

Glad for Creator! It's always weird seeing Mvp drop down.

T_T damn, MVP... that sucks

Damn Mvp and TaeJa out, no terran savior this season?
|
It seems I've run out of reasons to watch this GSL.
|
I don't understand why so many people think Terran can't win anything outside of Mvp. Taeja won many several tournaments earlier this year. The MLG did have a ZvZ final but both losing semi-finalists were Terran (Bomber and Flash), and half of the top 8 were Terran (with Heart and Taeja).
Looking at the foreign scene, the ASUS ROG Gd Invitational was won by Thorzain, and the highest placed foreigner in the MvP was Major.
I think Terrans are doing fine.
